I mean I know it's Christmas and all and it's not about the gifts, (it totally is) but that is two years on the trot I have had absolute shitters.

All thanks to doing a secret Santa to 'make things easier' :dread:

I'd be better buying and wrapping my own gifts. It's either that or finding a new family.

I didn't get a switch :(

I even hinted to everyone to pool their collective present buying funds and get one between them.

It didn't happen

I didn’t get a Switch either. Sounds like we have gooseberry fool families. :x

I did well this year. About £150 in cash overall, clothes, chocolates and some Xbox vouchers.

My lad has a massive haul though, I have never seen so many toys in my life.

I bought my nephew a robotic dog. Honestly, it’s the noisiest damn thing I have ever heard. My brother is seriously unimpressed with me.

I didn’t know it was that noisy until we put the batteries in. The worst thing is my nephew loved it and so my brother is doomed to hear it constantly for the next few months.

Hahaha luckily Amelia isn't too into her battery power noisy toys, there is a phone thing that bleeps but that's about it. She does has a wooden recorder whistle thing which she walks about with tooting like a train but otherwise she is pretty good, mostly likes to flick through her books babbling or getting us to read them

I remember as a youngster my parents bought me a hot wheels multistory car park thing, that had been converted into a race track. Every time the toy car went past the garage door (finish line) it made a loud car noise. And when I was playing with it, the car went past that line about 4 or 5 times a minute.

I remember coming back from school in the January, and it had been moved from the dining room table to the top and back of a cupboard as it was 'messy'
