I’m kind of the same as a lot of people. Not feeling that festive at all, even travelling down to parents today and seeing them to stay there for Christmas Day tomorrow but still not feeling Christmasy. Though my boy is bouncing off the walls and cannot wait for obvious reasons. .

Only real thing I’m looking forward to is the Secret Santa tomorrow it’s the only proper present I’ve got for the day

I'm heading down the supermarket tomorrow to collect a turkey that my mum ordered. Will be wrapped up, wearing a face mask and trying not to stand near other folk.

Same, wasn't feeling it already but after my mum spending time in hospital (she's home now, fine but in a bit of pain still), still feeling crap from my booster jab and christmas dinner put on hold, today just feels like a normal friday.

I've been listening to a few Christmas songs today, and some winter-themed Mario music, just to boost the feeling of Christmas in the air. It'll be a nice two days of festive fun, then less than a week until the new year. And that new year I'm planning to make a good one.

Im not that excited for a lot of reasons, the worst reason is proberbly that my Uncle John died of a heart attack a few months back and his birthday is boxing day, this will be the first since he passed and I am worried about my Auntie as she both has covid but is also very aware its her first Christmas without her husband etc... I have only seen a lot of my family in a very very limited capacity for a long time and yeah it drains you.
