This is a good idea, and I'll probably use it when I'm 18. It's true, my age group are dicks. In a showing of There Will Be Blood, only my friend spoke, cos she found it "boring". I was so embarrased. :|

A good idea, I'm sure it's hugely beneficial to a lot of the members here, but it's just a kick in the balls for people like me who know how to behave in the cinema. Sensible teenagers have to deal with this too (though it's not an issue at my local), hopefully this won't be nationwide and only apply to places where it's an issue.

I think its punishing everyone under 18 rather than the trouble makers, how hard is it to tell some banana split to shut the strawberry float up? or is everyone in fear of getting stabbed or missing an important plot twist in xXx2?

Pfft, I've been going to eighteen plus movies for years.

Great news, seeing as my local cinema is a Vue I'll be sure to take advantage of this. The amount of fucktards that chat and laugh for no reason in films gets on my nerves.

This gets my seal of approval. The third time (that's right) I went to see Dark Knight I had two underage drunken mongs sat to the left of me constantly laughing. I don't even know what they were laughing at.

I hope cinemas in the UK have no intention of allowing American-style hollering, cheering and applauding while in the cinema. One to be nipped in the bud I feel.

Going to the cinema is part of growing up though.

And i've only ever had problems with other adults being idiots at the cinema.

They're going to lose SO much money.

Its a good idea. I normally go to the cinema in the middle of the week when the screenings are less crowded and theres no Vue cinemas around here so it won't affect me anyways but I still like the idea.

This is a great idea. I would like my regular cinema chain Cineworld (unlimited ftw) to introduce this. Where I am now it is not too much of an issue however when I lived in London it was a constant problem.

Having never been to a VUE myself I'll probably not get to experience this as I don't know any near me, but its a fantastic idea. Even when you shout your tits off at the little chavs or scumbags they continue. Then again sometimes they are just as old as us so is it any different? But its great news.

Things were appalling at my local cinema last night. Some randoms stinking of fags just walked in two-thirds of the way through QoS and sat down next to me. People were fidgeting all the time too. Thing is, I'm pretty sure age wasn't the problem. 99% of the people in there looked well over 18.
