Several new DLC's have been released today, and as far as i'm aware, they will be the last such add ons for the current game.

A bunch of free extras are being included in a new update too.

You appear to have enjoyed such a good time with this game, Vermi! Could it be one of your all-time greats?

Yep, definitely, best game of the PS4/xbox one console generation for me.

I intend to start adding the new dlc to Westfield city later today.

I've always been a huge fan of building games, from Sim City 2000 and Theme Park/Hospital, to Tropico and now the Two Point series and Cities Skylines, i find them to be total time sinks.

I fired this up last night for the first time in ages to complete the MS Rewards challenge to do 100 days.

I couldn’t even get power and water to my town!

Now that's just embarrassing, your citizens must be really annoyed.

Anyhow, as part of the free update, a birthday plaza has been added to the game...

Also, thanks to the new Africa in Miniature DLC, i now have a neat little African themed district.

Cheers, i will admit though, i have spent an insane amount of hours on this one city.

Since it was first built, i have redeveloped most of the areas and added tons of the dlc content to it, Westfield really does feel like a historic place as i'm changing things and updating it all the time.

Even now, the rocket launch site in Little Seoul (formerly Shepherd's Bush) and part of the 'make like a tree and leaf' industrial area has just been replaced with some new sports arenas.

Finally sorted the traffic problems today around Drackenstein too, as there was a slip road causing long queues to form on the M25.

Well this is… an interesting strategy for the PC release.

Paradox admits that Cities: Skylines 2 performance has "not achieved the benchmark we targeted". Very honest of them. Are they delaying the PC release, like the console versions?

Oh, no. "Releasing now is the best way forward.”

Paradox insists it will "continually improve the game over the coming months" but says it wants to "manage expectations on performance" for next week's release.

Seems to run and look like ass, but the core gameplay is as good as ever.

Play or wait for improvements is the tough choice…

Being profitable seems really hard (Maybe selling electricity)

I got an hour or two into it yesterday. New electricity set up confused me for ages and still  not sure I get it.

Just unlocked schools etc which are HUGE.

It feels very similar to the past but also has some changes. Familiar enough to be confusing.

Ran ok on my PC but looks pretty rough. The old "high quality graphics running at low settings looks worse than basic graphics running well" IMO. Also all the buildings building slowly/with cranes i don't like.

My PS4 city keeps crashing and i don't know why (keep getting the same error code that starts with CE 38), it's making the game almost unplayable now as it crashes pretty much every time i try and build something :(

Well, I’ve finally got myself up and running. I have a thriving city of over 48k and have $1.6m cash in the bank.

I’ve recently built a Campus, Financial District and added some skyscrapers too and so far, all seems to be going well. Some minor traffic flow issues coming off the highway were promptly resolved and improved my flow back to 90% again.

I found a YT channel CityPlannerPlays which has over 30 episodes and followed his 1st episode to the letter to get to 5k population. Then I’ve gone my own way and just occasional referred to the odd episode for tips.

His 1st episode (https://youtu.be/Iu8YwpngbzE) was perfect for anyone like me who couldn’t get to grips with it
