The whole Ross/Brand scandal has given rise to everyone complaining about everything about the BBC.

Simply ridiculous.

He could of said something truly shocking about lorry drivers killing entire familes by faling asleep at the wheel or by watching a DVD.

I laughed so hard when I watched it, it was inevitable that someone would be offended. I was surprised to see the mention of a league of whores (or somesuch) mentioned in the metro this morning as having complained as well.

Oh for god sakes.

Really, do people have nothing better to do than complain about TV shows?

It was only 180 odd out of seven million viewers.

180 is a hell of a lot though, before the Mail called for Brand and Ross to be sacked only 2 people had complained (probably Sachs and his grandaughter  ), 10,000 more went on to complain over the next week or so.

But really though, although I understand posting on a games internet forum isn't the height of coolness, it ranks well above ringing/writing in to complain about jokes on TV shows.

As his comments weren't directed at any single person I doubt that this incident will reach the same level of public outcry that the Brand/Ross witch hunt did.

Also, people like Top Gear, it wins awards and is BBC2's highest rated show.

Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson has prompted more than 500 people to complain to the BBC about a joke he made on Sunday's motoring show.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7707641.stm

This is just another case of everyone with a petty grudge against a celeb getting a chance to put the boot in. Clarkson is a t*t and when I heard the remarks (which he repeated in the same programme) I did think 'uh-ho - this'll be trouble', but didn't actually think anyone would bother to kick up a fuss.

A nation of f*ckwits. :fp:

You don't think he was expecting or even hoping for complaints?
