Judging from most of your reactions this is pretty rubbish so I won't bother with it. Can someone explain in a spoiler box what this arm thing is about?

His arm gets ripped off by the space time continuum,
which is pissed off with them for being in the wrong dimension. Later on it shows up and writes a message telling the remaining crew to cut open one of their dead colleagues, who turns out to have been carrying the gyroscope they lost in the crash inside his body. Yes, it is incoherent bollocks, as is the rest of the film.

His character wasn't even in pain, he's just sitting they're saying stuff like "where's my arm?" and "think there's any chance it might grow back?"

"What are you talking about, arm?"
"My arm helped us find the Earth!"
"I'd clap, you know, if I could"

its explained that it looks like he was born with 1 arm so that’s why no pain, bollocks so yeah they explain that part but little anything else.

I didn't think it was that bad :shifty:

I mean, tonally it felt like a bit of a mish-mash, like you've got Alien-style body horror and then a few seconds later Roy makes some little quip in his fun irish accent. I kinda think it's a good thing that it's not straight up horror, though.

At least the monster in this actually looked a little like Clover.

Will we ever get another film that actually has the big monsters in it properly, though?

The author guy at the start was going on about the possible effects of the accelerator ruining space-time, so would that mean that the broken launches made the Clover monsters throughout history, or what? I'm assuming this one was set a little later than when everything kicked off in Manhattan...

3D printing it is quite easy, there are a number of plans out there and if you have access to the system, materials and a govenment body to design and test it I could see it happening.

This felt more like a black mirror episode. It's alright, sort of amusing with some ok special effects. Not exceptional, but worth a watch imo.

Unfortunately not. Moss walking into shot looking self conscious would have been amazing though.

I'm guessing O'Dowd's delivery being straight out of IT Crowd was intentional...
