Motorstorm Mondays were a pretty great thing, RIP in peace servers

I was on Gamesradar for a few years before GRcade, but I went to Playsona before coming here.

I joined Mon Sep 28, 2009 8:35 pm, so nit really technically a GRcade original.

I signed up in 2012 so it has "only" been six years for me. My favourite thing about GR has been how I've made a few pals here through both playing online (Kart Monday and Rocket Tuesday) and the Twitch streams (Pedz, TWA, Jazzem, Grum, Cheeky Devlin, Super Dragon et al) .

How did you find this place?

I started on the Edge forums a long long time ago.

When they were closed down, I moved over to Gamesradar but didn’t post much. Mainly because I was posting on a few other forums and also running one of my own.

I moved away from the other forums, closed my one down and then Gamesradar died. So I moved onto GR where I was quiet at first, before turning into the constantly posting monster that I now am.

I think I just stumbled across it whilst searching for video game forums, Maf, and it has been my home on the web ever since. As with anything, there has been a bump or two along the way, but, generally, I think it's ace.

I was on Gamesradar too, played a lot of Gears of War and Rainbow Six: Vegas with the guys on there/here, but kind of faded away from consoles for a bit when all my gaming time went into World of Warcraft instead between late 2007 and late 2009, so missed the switch over to GRCade. It was FIFA of all things that brought me back. Went to look for people to play Pro Clubs with on the forum and realised everyone had started this place up instead.

Wish I knew. I do believe he signed up here a few years back, posted once or twice then vanished.

Invincible. He was certainly a character. He posted a similar picture of this this to me when on Gamesradar I asked when Resident Evil 4 was coming out for PS2.



At that point RE4 was still a Gamecube exclusive in a time when 'timed exclusives' weren't really a thing. Exclusive was supposed to mean exactly that. As you might imagine it didn't go down too well when RE4 was released for PS2.

Whatever happened to Prototype? Used to play Call of Duty with that chap.

And I still haven't found anything better to do with my time.

I was on Gamesradar and i before that i think it was called dailyradar. I think i joined that originally 2001 or something. I then moved to GRCade on its first day of inception. I remember being on holiday in spain and sadly waiting for the launch day so that i could sign up. It all sounds rather sad really.
