Forum invasions.

They were absolutely hilarious. Going onto the Fightstar forum and complaining about how much we wished Charlie was back in Busted.

Anyway, my journey is Edge > GamesRadar > GRcade. Day one member, natch.

Here from the start, and GamesRadar before it. I'm on here every day, but don't post much.

Eesh, joined gamesradar in 2005, a fresh faced 16 year old. I'M 30 SEVEN WEEKS FROM TODAY. A point will come soon where more than half my life will involve checking in with my fellow nerds on here.

Is this what smoking is like? I kid I kid.

Still remember being gutted that Gamesradar was shutting down our old forum. Luckily Steve and co stepped up to give us a new home and it's stayed that way ever since. Can't believe it's almost been ten years though.

10 years is ridiculous! I was in my 30s. Now I'm staring 50 up the arse.

Favourite memory:

A month before I started university and one of the first topics was about applying to be on Total Wipeout.

Loads of us applied, I got through and ended up the show, with it being filmed in Argentina in November 2008 and broadcast in February 2009. I even got sent a trophy for the best big balls Wipeout. :slol:

Joined: Sun Oct 17, 2010 - though, was on gamesradar prior. Gaming fell by the wayside for a few years until my return at end of 2016.
Biggest memory and biggest thing to happen would have to be my son - who is just starting to dip his toes into gaming waters!
Total posts:1600 - hardly prolific. Lurk more than I post!

You couldn't have waited 2 months !?

Anyway happy 9 year 10 month anniversary Grcade.

Yes I was a grcade original.

The day this place opened I was 16 and heading out paintballing for my friends 18th birthday. Was a good day.

My favourite memory of this place. I'm not sure.

My life, I guess I've just grown up.

I've been to uni, made many friends, lost a few(including my paintballing friend). Seen my parents divorce, remarry (or one of them), lost all of my grandparents.
Learnt to drive, got a job, moved out from home, lived in various places around the country and world. Even had the occasional fling with a girl.

The next 10 years I aim to sort out the personal life. In fact, lets change that to the next two years. Lets turn that occasional fling into something worthwhile.

Let's hope the next 10 years have as much variety and change as the last ten, just less bad bits.

I remember that. In fact I don't just remember it, I still have the episode...

I just re-watched a bit of it to make those gifs I forgot Richard Hammond was narrating

I remember the Total Wipeout time very well! I got through the auditions but failed the medical because I had previously ruptured an ACL :(.

It seems crazy to me that I was only on Gamesradar for 6 years but it's been 10 on here. I still think of this as the new forum.

I joined the old gamesradar in 2003 as I needed to canvas opinions for some coursework. It was my first foray onto an internet forum and I was an attention seeking brat.

I followed across to this place pretty early doors and I've since made 1.45 posts a day of little or no consequence. :toot: Love this place.

Nearly ten years ago. :dread: Was on GR before that, but I think I got banned by Gandalf. What a little gooseberry fool.
This was/is a great place, both due to entertaining personalities and gaming discussions.

As I grew up discussions changed from arguing why Sony is the best (I got banned from Gamespot doing this (something about saying they were paid off by Microsoft), which is why I arrived on GamesRadar) to arguing about politics and forum rules.

These days I just stick to entertainment we used to have a subforum called entertainment and gaming. I do my arguing on the New Zealand subreddit.

Where you one of the GRcade originals? Yep.

What has been your biggest memory in the past 10 years? The Kid from everybody loves Raymond dying and the subsequent discovery of Ariel Winter and her norks. Best Thread Ever.

Post count to date 2874, thought it would be bigger (that's what she said)

Wish my image sig would work

I'm still a grcade newbie, probably should have moved over here from onm a lot sooner but I'm a lazy git who couldn't be bothered to make an account.

Where you one of the GRcade originals? Yes.
What has been your biggest memory in the past 10 years? Probably one of the GGGC or Werewolf games. The Archive is a blessing.
Post count to date? Too many.

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Third person to join the site so I guess I’m one of the originals, I was on Gamesradar from 2004 and Edge prior to that.

So many great times, forum invasions were always a highlight, the great PSN outage was another pure gold moment.

I don’t post as much as I used to, but still visit the forum daily.
