Fed up talking videogames? Why?

It's somewhere between videogames and anime on the hobby/disease scale

I had a pretty immense DVD/Game/Book collection but jettisoned a lot it before I emigrated. There's a lot of stuff in storage, but there's also a fair bit of stuff I was sorry I got rid of. The DVDs were just wasted shelf space, but I do regret parting with the games.

You say this yet pay no attention to the bogey collector?

Anyhow, i've been collecting autographs since the mid 1990's, even got one from Rolf Harris roughly 15 years before everyone found out that he was a dirty old man.

Wrote to the BBC, he was presenting Animal Hospital at the time so it was pretty straightforward.

That said, a few years before that, my class at school all wrote to Jimmy Savile, the teacher put all the letters together and sent them away to Jim'll Fix it.

Collecting geeky or cool stuff is a hobby, collecting the skin and pubic hair from your victims is a disease.

Rapidly-greying is Mediocre to Average at games :fp:

Other than wall bogeys, I have never been much of a collector. I used to have lots of physical games/books/CDs/DVDs but have pretty much got rid of all of them now as I would rather not have the clutter.

I don’t think collecting things is a disease, but it doesn’t interest me.
