Agreed. But the point still stands. And if I had to pick one of them to look like an ass, it would be Putin first. The fact that someone has succeeded, just days after he failed, is glorious.

I look forward to months and months of furious "WHY DO WE SEND THEM AID WHEN THEY ARE GOING TO THE MOON!!!!!!!!" comments from the lovely people of this country.

Aye, to be fair (and we should be fair) Modi is ever-so-slightly less of a banana split than Putin.

The two of them were in conference at the Brics summit in South Africa today. Some serious point scoring for Modi there.

Also, I believe Chandrayaan-3 has a degree of international cooperation, carrying experiments from other countries, while Luna-25 predictably only had Russian instruments.

I can't remember the name. Virgin offered a company from Cornwall that who made a rocket and put it on their plane. They did it last time, but it was failed.
