Interesting idea, one other thing it's atmosphere is 90 times the pressure of earth.

Titan excites me more than anything else in our solar system. It will be interesting to see how life has evolved there without the influence of land mammals.

If, you know, it has any life.

And what of Europa, and Enceladus? Are not both of those just as exciting as Titan?

Why is Titan exciting?

The reports that suggested NASA scientists "found evidence" of life on Titan was optimistic bullshit if you ask me. The only reason they came to that conclusion was because the main substance life on Titan would breathe, methane, isn't present down at the surface. Some suggested this was because it's being used up down there, by life. But those same scientists admit that this could be caused by hundreds of other reasons.

It has a thick atmosphere, like they suspect Earth used to have billions of years ago. But that's where the similarities end. It's so far away from the sun, nowhere near the habitable zone, and it's cold as hell. The only hope scientists really have for Titan, is that life MIGHT exist in the FUTURE (when the sun goes giant and engulfs the first 4 planets of the solar system). Now, I'm not suggesting that life elsewhere in the universe has to evolve in environments similar to Earths, but if that's our hope for life on Titan...Then as Alvin says, what of Europa and Enceldaus? Or pretty much any other planet in the universe?

Just read about "Planemos". Planets that have been exiled from their solar systems, and forever roam the universe. A mind blowing concept. That's why I love space.

Does there need to be a reason?

Yes, stuff like that just doesn't exist to exist for the sake of it.

All of that is because of a big bang theory HAHAHAAHHAHHAHAHA

Non Believers are really thick most of the times.

Now Im sure you are joking.

Does Allah ever state how the universe came to be?

Ive heard it before, but thinking about it; religion and afterlife and the spirit world and higher beings just absolutely have to be a construct created by and for people who are so utterly incapable of grasping how infinitely unimportant they are in the grand scheme of things. Is it not possible that the infinity of time and space just is? Why must it exist to serve you or your gods?

Is it not possible that this entire universe could be a fraction of a quark of a nucleus of an atom in the part of some larger universe?

But no. God did it. Because its easier that way, I guess.

Yes in details and Scientist are still unsure how ''Mohamed'' knew that.

The Quran also goes into depth about how the ocean works, that there is even a barrier between sweet and salty water. How flowers work and their sex. All before science knew what is up.

Falsey, you sit all strawberry floating day on the internet dismissing everything. Just once, you know, try to read up on the Quran from a neutral perspective. It's the cool thing to be now, to not believe in anything but that is just following the crowd without actually doing any research yourself. It's being lazy.

Try that.

I can see how hundreds/thousands of years ago people thought that everything was created. They had no way of knowing how vast the universe was or how small atoms are. They saw the wonders of the world and the stars in the sky and the only realistic explanation was that there was a being that created it all.

I can also see how people living in third world countries can believe in God(s). Poor standard of education, religious leaders etc etc. It makes sense for them to believe that God did it. Or to at least pretend that’s what they believe so that they don’t get executed.

How anybody in the Western world believes that nowadays is beyond me though.

There's sweet water in the ocean?

Are you sure you were reading the Quran and not Charlie and the Chocolate Factory?

Ill let you off as you dont know my background, but Ive studied plenty of religion from a neutral perspective. I always found religion and religious theory fascinating when I was at school and seriously considered studying it through to university.

When I was a lad I was encouraged to research everything and find whatever fitted me best. My parents were pretty liberal in that respect.

After literal years of trying to find my way I settled on a sort of open minded atheism. I dont currently believe there are gods or higher powers, though my mind remains open to the concept and should I receive evidence that Im wrong (or become enlightend/born again I suppose) then Ill graciously accept my failings and readjust my position.

Though being as god is supposedly a vengeful god then maybe readjusting my position wont save me after all ;)

Haha. What a dick.

The Chinese knew far more about the world and the universe far before your beloved pedo idol was even born. Does that make the gods? "Before science" - what?

Anyway, I knew this thread was going to get derailed when MCN posted that...All good things must come to an end.

Cultural indoctrination and closed mindedness.

If you bombard a child with whatever teachings and tell them that anyone that thinks anything to the contrary is trying to lead you astray from the true path, then it sticks.

Just an FYI; there's nothing in the Quran that requires divine revelation.

Nor is there anything that wasn't better understood by other contemporary secular scientists in other regions.

Yeah, I stopped taking you serious after you said that. If you studied the Quran then you would know better then to ask questions if the Quran mentions the universe etc.

Why do you feel the need to insult someone?

No they did not. It is common fact most science came from the Quran . Simple stuff as brushing your damn tongue to kill bacteria came from muslims and thought the western world when they were in Spain. So yes, without us muslims your breath would smell like gooseberry fool which most likely still does Pontious. Touch me

Well, you could have said that instead of trying to come over as if you studied religion. You are the internet in a nutshell . Opinion about religion but no strawberry float all about it .

I don't blame you nor the many ignorants (see Pontious) . It's lack of education and understanding .

For Moggy saying how anyone in their right mind could believe in god is beyond him and he thinks it's lack of education. I hope he knows these people that came up with most university materials are muslims. Algebra anyone?

But let's all pretend only the uneducated believe in god. L O L
