What do you consider the ultimate comfort food? The idea arose while poting in the pizza thread as it's simple especially if you're a lazy arsehole (and we're on an internet forum here, so most of us are).

For me, as much as I enjoy a good pizza it has to be a nice steak and onion pie, preferably a Fray Bentos one. Bung it in the oven, get some chips on and make some gravy. Delicious. Some chicken and noodles runs it a close second.

Any Junk food.

I'l slam chocolate, KFC, Fast food in general, Pizza. Anything goes really in terms of junk. Muffins. Has to be double choc chip baby. Eh...yeah...as long as it isn't crisps. I don't eat crisps anymore...

Milk and cookies. It's an old classic.

I got some vouchers for a local chinese in the mail today and some are pretty good. £5 off when you spend £15 or more, the again but get 10 off when you spend 30 and a 2 for 1 when you order two starters and two mains. It's a good takeaway too so I might be having that tonight.

All to yourself I hope? I don't really comfort eat, but Marmite sandwiches would be a good option. x

I had a gammon and cheese melt the other day...best sandwich combo ever.

I'm so hungry right now. Wish dinner would be ready.

Keema Matha Bhuna, big pile of fresh chapattis & ice cold Kingfisher.

That's what does it for me, or at least it would be if my local Indian hadn't gone right down the pan over the last few months.

Gammon and cheese melt? That sounds like a strawberry floating winner!

Chips and gravy from the chippy! Now that's comfort food.

Anything that doesn't require any effort on my part. Walkers Sensations cracker things, Mini Cheddars, Orange Chicken and noodles from the Chinese place in town, anything with chocolate in it.

Not a fan of sweet stuff particularly, but I like ice cream. Then it's all savoury - crisps, cheese on toast, sausage sandwich, etc.

Crispy Bacon on an Oven Bottom Muffin with lashings of Brown Sauce, accompanied by a nice Brew. Nothing can compare!
