Judging from reviews, I wouldn't get too excited about that. Though weekly books would definitely read better in trade I would guess.

Read them all last night, yeah it's nowhere near as good as Eternal. It's main problem is it needs the current dc universe to catch up on events slightly.

Also there are soooo many different stories going on (obviously) but with eternal it works because it's all part of the bat-family. Future's End seems to be focusing too much of some of the gooseberry fool stuff and not enough on the cool stuff because that's been saved for the next event/when the earth 2 weekly comes out probs.

For me it was just Superior Spider-Man 32 and New Warriors 8 this week.

Superior was fantastic - a really good introduction to this Spider-Verse that they're starting, and an interesting introduction for the Wolverine-trained Spider-Man with a gun, who I presume is going to play a fairly big role in this story. It was also nice to see Pavitr Prabhakar, the Indian Spider-Man. Otto was as fantastic as ever, it's a damn shame that they've time limited his character and I really hope that Superior Spider-Man continues after the crossover finishes in some way.

just caught up on batman eternal as well, really really enjoying this.

got all of future's end to read now :datass: :datass:

Yup I also loved Superior 8-) Absolutely love seeing
all the different Spider-Men. Especially the 6 armed Spidey, a figure I had as a child 8-)

Didn't realise this is what Spidey Verse would be, very cool.

I would be way more excited for Spider-Verse if Slott wasn't involved.

Has anyone been reading the new amazing spidey run?

I've been reading my brother's issues and I made the right decision not picking it up. It feels tired.

Yeah Amazing feels pretty unexciting after how good Superior was. The new arc featuring Silk could be interesting.

Re-read Infinity Gauntlet yesterday and today to see how easily they could adapt it to a movie for Avengers 3. I forgot Silver Surfer had such a big part in it, he could easily be replaced with another cosmic character introduced in GotG2. Aside from that it shouldn't be too hard to work around, and the loss of Spider-Man, Wolverine and Cyclops is no biggie.

Not surprised, I didn't even enjoy Slott's first Amazing run.

Adam Warlock.

I mean as well as him since he already has a huge part of the story. Could easily just put Nova in the role I guess.

It was revealed that, as well as working for SHIELD all these years, he's also been protecting Earth from alien threats. He's ran out of infinity formula and is ageing rapidly, so he has a bunch of LMDs. There's been a few things revealed in the tie-in issues like Stark modifying the gamma bomb that endd up turning Banner into the Hulk, and Angela being Thor and Loki's sister.

Loved Superior #32. :datass: Otto is a far more entertaining central figure than Slott's Parker so hopefully they can clone him or something.

CBR wrote:The Inversion gave Remender the chance to explore Cyclops and his point of view, and it's a "very big part" of what happens in "AXIS" #4, and pays off in "AXIS" #7. "You'll see a reshuffling of the X-Universe that takes place in 'AXIS,'" said Remender. "It even builds into the future books that are coming out of the office. … What the X-Men do in this event isn't something the world can forget any time soon. How they have to deal with things starting with Red Onslaught and how they deal with what the Red Skull was doing." The "endless attempt of the universe to crush [the X-Men] into the mud" will unearth how Remender sees the current incarnation of Scott.

(..)

Remender also discussed some of the characters he was most excited to approach. "Hulk, for one -- because of the Hulk's Hulk," said Remender. "Deadpool. Havok is a huge amount of fun. Apocalypse -- the Summers brothers in general, as the X-Pieces go.

That does sound like one of them becomes Apocalypse though I thought Bleeding Cool was claiming Havok was going to go evil. Plus it doesn't really fit with Remender introducing Evan who is the natural next Apocalypse.
