Just Wake #10 though Maf might be surprised to learn I just bought a load of trades off HM.

Still haven't read last issue of Zero Year yet as I thought I'd reread all the previous issues first. #0 really doesn't seem to be canon any more at all.

Robin sale on comixology. Is Batman Inc worth getting? I only read the Damian Wayne death issue. I bought all the Morrison Batman issues the other day and I've already got Morrison's B&R issues, so wondering if it's worth completing the set. Isn't loads of it really contradictory with new 52 canon given that it was and always meant to be a pre-new 52 book?

The first pre-52 volume stars Stephanie as Batgirl so obviously some of that's out of continuity but I think the rest of it's been rejigged somewhat. I think general consensus was Batman Inc started well but the finale was disappointing. I still plan on buying it eventually though to complete my Morrison Bat (and Stephanie) collection.

EDIT: Apparently an Absolute edition containing every issue with some redrawn pages is out in Decemeber. Maybe I'll wait for that.

For the close of such an important arc it was fairly awful. Its got the standard unearned twist which has become such a cliche with Morrison's writing of Batman that even calling it a twist seems kind. You know there's going to be a "shock" ending because there's always one so any impact it might have had is minimal.

Compared to the finale of Johns run on Green Lantern its in the ha'penny place and no mistake. I'm just happy its over.

That final Johns Green Lantern issue was great. Another great final issue- Zero Year finale. :datass: While it's still too early to say whether ZY will be remembered as one of the great Batman stories, it has surpassed Black Mirror for me as Snyder's best Batman work. Definitely the best Riddler story I've ever read considering how underused he is too.

I am almost certianly going to rebuy the whole thing in some deluxe hardback trade.

Considering how expensive that must have been, why didn't you ever read it?

I pre-ordered it when it was first announced for a crazy good price and then in the meantime between pre-ordering it and it being released, all the issues went cheap on comixology. So I just thought I'd leave it sealed just in case.

Ok, so watching GOTG last night has re-kindled my interest in Marvel comics again. I'm going to start reading again from the beginning of the Marvel NOW! Era, I currently have the following trades

Uncanny Avengers Vol 1
Avengers Vol 1-3
Superior Spider-Man Vol 1-2
Guardians of the galaxy Vol 1
Nova Vol 1

I'm going to continue these series and I'm going to pick up the 2 Infinty trades next. Question is where do I go after Infinity? What's this Inhumanity stuff?

Get the New Avengers trades as well as they lead up to Infinity. Inhumanity was an attempt by Marvel to make the Inhumans relevant but the main Inhuman book was relentlessly delayed and nobody cares any more.

The GOTG movie was inspired by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning's 2008 run which is conveniently being recollected soon.

There's an upcoming Red Skull event leading out of the events of Uncanny Avengers.

Thanks, I just ordered Uncanny Avengers 2 & 3 so I'll read all the stuff I got then I'll order the Infinity trades.

I tried New Avengers before but I wasn't too keen on it really, maybe i'll re-read the first volume again
