Broken systems becomes a theme as if you've read New Avengers you'll already know that the multiverse is broken.

So he did semi succeed in making earth sentient but Blackmask and Starbrand "killed" it when they destroyed the pink worm creature?

Brevoort's reaction to this after all the gooseberry fool he gave Rich when the story was first rumoured months back

Think the only comics I'm grabbing this week are Amazing Spider-Man and Batman.

Ordered Infinity trade today, look forward to getting stuck into that epic!

Is Batman a pretty much self contained title? It looks really good but i'm not really interested in getting into the DCU

I think there's been been some cross over with Batgirl, Night wing, Batman and Robin, detective comics suicide squad and maybe more (Don't think so though,) for the death of the family arc, and a little with night of the owls, but it's one issue here and there. I'll likely be corrected soon.

I haven't looked at the schedule yet but I think it's just AMS for me. I don't read DC(not that I bear them any malice, I've just never read them and don't have the time to overcome all the backstory stuff. New 52 doesn't really interest me so much) so that makes it slightly cheaper.

You can just read Batman. Other books tied into it but you can ignore them.

He is literally a God to DC now. Can't think of anyone more untouchable than him in comics atm.

Quite a boring list apart from the Jim Starlin cosmic event.

It's a fantastic last page that I don't want to spoil, but the best thing about it is the fact that a) DC didn't hype it up for months and b) it didn't leak. Made it just another level of awesome.

I made my brother read the issue as well and he had the exact same reaction.

Just read it.
Surprised they kept that quiet and Rich from Bleeding Cool wasn't being his usual "TOLD YA!!!1" smug self. But I've always though the Joker was just a bit gooseberry fool and annoying.
