Probs because Romita Jr is involved and literally only gets work at Marvel because his dad was a good artist there. Pity it's not like father like son in this case.

Probably, there's just too much in the image, like it's purposely being filled in because it wants people to know it's a big event - like it's going "HEY YOU GUYS LOOK TH THIS IT'S AMAZING, THERE'S FIGHTING AND SUPERHEROES AND BOOM AND BANG AND WOLVERINE IS IN IT TOO YYYYEEEEAAAHHHH AMERICA RULES!"

 yeah. Look at spidey and emma frost on the left. Emma Frost is just staring at iron man's junk (not really surprising given the massive slag she is) and spidey is just there, looking like he's about to sneak up behind emma-slag-frost and give a bit of his webbing if you know what i mean.

Read From Hell last month. It was incredible. Seriously amazing. Inspired me to go on a tour of London and see the masonic buildings and other places of interest from the novel.

Currently reading V for Vendetta.

No Spider Woman or Ms. Marvel? :(

Also, anyone read Iron Man 2.0? Just realised it's War Machine and his ballin' new armour when I read the preview in one of the Uncanny X-Force issues.

I read it. It was an annoying read and it's been cancelled now as well. You didn't even see the new armour till the end of 3rd issue, and then the next issue didn't even have Rhodey or the armour at all. Then it started getting going on the story again and then it diverted like 3 issues to Fear Itself, came back finished the arc and then got cancelled. Shame, but not surprising. If you want to read good stuff with War Machine in read the new Secret Avengers stuff, especially considering Remender who is currently doing awesome stuff with Uncanny X-Force and Venom is taking over next issue (even though i think war machine isn't in the team under Remender)

I wasn't too impressed with what I've read of Brubaker's Secret Avengers but I'll probably pick up Remender's .1 issue since I'm reading Venom any way.

Just read this week's Moon Knight and Avengers.

Somehow Bendis managed to write a better team-up book with one character than he did with a proper team up book. I especially love how the front cover for Avengers had Storm on the front as if she was important when in fact she had about one panel dedicated to her and it was her unconscious and dribbling from the issue beforehand

I'd feel so ripped off if I had brought the last couple of Avengers issues

That Watchmen one is not going to help the Watchmen 2 rumours go away.

I'm not sure these are mock ups or real (as the issues have already been released with previous logos)

First of all the bring in Rob Liefeld, then this... Oh DC :fp:

I would imagine it's more to do with the various prequel projects in development.

Also, everyone should go out and buy PROPHET from Image Comics.

It's like Conan through a sci-fi/Moebius lens.

You were right, Mori, Ultimate Six is pretty good.

Oh, and the new DC logo is wank.
