This pretty much guarantees I'll wait till everything's out, then pirate the whole lot together.

Paid £16.99 for the Rise of the TR art book edition on PS4 from Sainsbury’s at Christmas, though it had come down in price many months earlier. And that’s what I’m going to do with Shadow. strawberry float paying £45 for all this nonsense.

Entitlement bullshit is just as bad as DLC bullshit.

I've really enjoyed the the last two Tomb Raider games so I'll probably pick this up.

Eh? It's not entitlement to ask for a game release that doesn't require a strawberry floating diagram to explain which parts of the game I can buy and when they'll be released.

It's entitlement to say "I don't like how this thing is being sold so I'm going to steal it".

If you don't like it just don't buy/play it.

That diagram unnecessarily complicates the situation. It's basically no different to many other recent games (such as Far Cry and Assassin's Creed).

Game.
Game + digital tat.
Game + digital tat + season pass.
Game + digital tat + season pass + physical tat.
Separate season pass.

I'll be going for the third option.

I know this is a Square decision, but as this is being made by the same developers of Deus Ex, you'd think they would have learned from the backlash to Mankind Divided's season pass/pre-order shenanigans.

Yeah it's just extra info we don't really need.

Anyway, I enjoyed last two so I'll pick this up though not at launch (unless I've happen to run out of games to play), still looking forward to it though.

Announcing and detailing a season pass before you’ve shown off a single second of actual in-game footage  :fp:

If it is similar to the first two and I’d be happy enough.

And I could wait until Christmas as I expect it will get a price drop.

It's completely tone deaf announcing all this DLC stuff for sure.

How many bloody editions does one game need, just do the normal and collectors edition and leave it at that.

I really did enjoyed the two previous Tomb Raider games and I will no doubt get this one but all this dlc announced before we even see a bit of gameplay, I don't like where this is going.

How much you're gonna bet there's microtransactions in this one?

The first gameplay trailer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider showcases the high-octane action, inner conflict, and challenges that will lead to Lara Croft’s defining moment. As she races to save the world from a Maya apocalypse, Lara must master a deadly jungle, overcome terrifying tombs, and persevere through her darkest hour before being forged into the Tomb Raider she is destined to be. Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be available on September 14th, 2018.

Looks really good. Reminds me of Uncharted and Assassin’s Creed.
