This would usually go in Currently Playing but it seems like the kind of game that deserves it's own thread.
I've had it for over a year, I'm about 2 missions in because of how unbelievably shite I am at it. Any tips from anyone? Tactics, what I should and shouldn't do, useful things to know, whatever. I'm crap even at easy RTSs, the tactics aspect of this makes it worse.
I'm about go play it for the first time in a while, although I'll probably just play the tutorial. Wish me luck.
I downloaded the single player demo from Steam, and I really enjoyed the two campaign levels that it gave you - D-Day, and defending a French town (specifically three bridges). However, thinking that I'd done fairly well in them I tried out a skirmish and got thoroughly bumrushed by the Nazi's.
I put this down to me being proper gooseberry fool, and it put me off buying the game. There were Jerries everywhere!
Its a great game, not sure really how I can help you, just remember to try and use cover, flank enemies and make good use of abilities/special weapons.
I'd advise you to really give it a good go, its probably the best RTS game ever made, if you don't get into it then you are really missing out on a great experience.
