I think we had one of these last year (or I may have imagined it) - which companies do you avoid/have a vendetta against/hate, and why?

My 2017 gooseberry fool list:

BT - just seem like an awful company; greedy, poorly run, with bad customer service. I try and avoid (as much as one can do with their Openreach monopoly).
Cadbury - still on here since last year; ever since they were bought (and then sold on again I think) I've avoided them. Recipe changes, UK job losses, generally being worse than it used to be.
Amazon - treat their employees like gooseberry fool (the warehouse staff at least), questionable tax policies, and I generally prefer to try and support businesses that aren't as huge.
Sports Direct - treat their employees like gooseberry fool, Mike Ashley seems like a scumbag.
Nestlé - I've avoided anything made by them for a few years now. Giant company with questionable morals and dodgy business practices.
Starbucks - overpriced, dodgy tax policies, would rather support Costa.

Which companies are on your gooseberry fool list, and why?

Pretty much all of the ones in the first post.

It's a shame Nestle make Lion bars otherwise I'd avoid them completely.

I find its mostly food companies I avoid these days.

ASDA because their food is strawberry floating terrible, their stores a mess, and the practices of owners Walmart, though mainly in the US, is atrocious.
Nestle, as their food is also generally terrible (though I do like a KitKat occasionally). I mean it has improved over the years I will give them that, but Nescafe is still one of the worst brands of coffee on the market.
Starbucks because it's so expensive, and I'd rather choose a slightly more authentic brand like Caffe Nero (which I think has the best tasting coffee of the major chains) while also supporting other British establishments like Costa or even Greggs.
Samsung as their products keep breaking on me and their customer services don't give a gooseberry fool.

I'm not sure I hate any company. I dislike dealing with sales people, I find their fakeness very off putting.

I love how it's more expensive to get trains to some places than to fly to them, figure that one out.
