Has anyone tried Strands?
https://www.nytimes.com/games/strandsI don't think the UI works for me, given my fat fingers obscure the text when selecting. I guess it's beta and they may change stuff.

Strands #3
“I gotta dip!”
It's fun, but the fact that the words don't seem to overlap or run through each other means it only gets easier as you move through the board, and completion feels a bit inevitable.

Absolutely bollocked today's connections. Kept trying a group to discover one of the words I was certain of was the red herring meant for another group.

Yeah, pretty easy, but fun. Got
jalapeno first, and the rest all fell into place.

I did today's strands (don't do it) and whilst I used two hints and knew the theme and answers, I still struggled.

Big load of shite today. I got it but with a bit of chance involved. Using trademarks isn’t something I’d expect.

I must be in the zone today, because I started off Connections with the purple category, got Wordle in three (good, considering the presence of an X), then did Letter Boxed in three moves (out of a suggested target of six) - JIHADIST-TOUCH-HONOR.

Today's blue group:
never heard of breaking as an Olympic sport. Apparently it's breakdancing which is being added at Paris this year. Also purple group:
you don't set volleyball, there are sets in volleyball!
