Afternoon all!

I'm looking at getting at contacts for the first time (only got given glasses a couple of weeks ago). Does anyone use these? If so - what are recommendations in terms of the different types and whether to get daily ones or monthly ones? I'm a complete newbie to the area.

Thanks for any advice chaps

I've worn contact lenses since I was 13 years old (I think!). Used to be great big hard discs that left me looking like Gollum.

Anyway, as a soon to be forty year old, I can say that thankfully they have come on a a lot since then! You'll need to try out a few types and see which works best for you. I have worn daily disposable Acuvue lenses for many years and they are very good. As soft as can be, they are more like putting a slightly viscous drop of water in your eye. Plus, with the daily ones you don't have to fanny about with the little chemistry set every night to keep them in order.

Whichever ones you go for, once you have settled I would recommend contact lenses.co.uk for getting them. Cheaper than the opticians and absolutely rapid despatch.

Good luck!

I called off his players' names as they came marching up the steps behind him....All nice guys. They'll finish last. Nice guys. Finish last.
