Yup done that too, I usually try to drive right as much as possible but for some reason I took a wrong turn and had to drive for miles the wrong way down the the dual carriageway. Amazingly I didnt actually hit anything so I still got full bonus for the undamaged load so the fines werent a total killer.

Some of those speed limits in Nevada are a challenge. 80mph in a tight and twisty road is both fun and scary. Before someone says that I don't need to travel at those speeds, I do. A limit as good as a demand.

:dread:

Spent 15 minutes trying to attach the trailer and reverse out of the yard, then I jumped a light, drove as fast as I could down a road for a few minutes, tried to cut a corner by going off road across a field, then careered into the underside of a motorway junction bridge and got the trailer stuck.

I'm not sure what being set in America can do to change this experience

It's vastly different. In America you would career into an interstate bridge not a motorway bridge.
