What?! What are people using in the shower if not a bar of soap?- People past the age of 16 still use shower gel?

When I was seventeen
It was a very good year
It was a very good year for ditching shower gel
And 60p beans
We'd turn off the lights
And hide from the bailiffs
When I was seventeen

Because it's for children who want to seem cool, like Lynx.

Apparently this is a controversial opinion. I mean I use it when I go the gym and stuff but that's because I can't carry a wet bar of soap in my gym bag. But at home?

My life since 2006 :toot:

Also - depending on the contents of the gel and the nature of your skin, pure bar soap may be a non starter for showering. Quite abrasive and itch-inducing and not necessarily ideal for pores.

There's a Netflix explained about Skin which basically advises that the only real way to clean your skin is to wash with hot water and then dry yourself with a towel.
