Hi Dual, let me check with Huey Games, I thought the demo for Android was day one in the campaign, but o may have hot my wires crossed. Apologies.

The PC and Mac demo are definitely up however.

It looks like the Kickstarter is off to a terrific start with over £5k of the £15k target gained already :toot: .

Just played the demo on my iMac... it's bloody great! I hardy ever game on my Mac and I used keyboard to play; even then it was great fun! The graphics are a lovely homage to the old 8 and 16 bit days whilst the music is ace. The gameplay seems to be pretty welcoming to new players; even I could get into it pretty quickly. I will definitely dig out my joypad and give it another go tonight :-).

Just a small note for Mac players who are playing the demo:

Awesome Jawa and thank you for the support! Now you need to keep an eye on your multiplier. Chain hits together and make sure you shoot the alienoids that come down from the screen every so often.

HyperSentinel has just been trending on Twitter. WTF!

For a small team, it's impressive that the guys are aiming to release the game for PC Steam, Mac, PS4, XBO, iOS and Android. The Kickstarter is now heading towards £6,400 following the launch this morning, and it'd be so cool if they can build up enough desire to hit that £15K goal.

I've just seen that the game has gained a story on The Sun's website :o . Never mind the quality of the media... feel the publicity :toot: .

Yeah saw that on twitter somewhere too. We've just swooped passed the 50% mark.

Just took a peak behind the scenes, and nobody has hit a score of £50,000 for the demo yet. It is most certainly doable if you play the game tactically correct ;) I'll give some tips later in the campaign.

Quick update.

Hopefully the Android demo should be up soon ... just hold tight a little longer.

Also Amazon TV Stick / Amazon Fire tablet have now been added to the list of day one launch platforms!

Go play the demo and throw us a few quid if would like to support a UK Dev that was one of the pioneers at the start of the video game industry :)

34,304, it's fun B)

I feel like I suck at this game though! The time between thing coming on screen and thing hitting you is very short.

My only complaint is that fire is on space or m. I'm using the arrow keys so I wish fire was on z or x or something so I'm not reaching over my touchpad to hit m.

Not a bad score, but you can get it higher. It's a tight balance between keeping shooting things (to keep multiplier up) and getting out of danger to recharge your shields. Make sure you use the dodge move: flipping your ship avoids enemies and enemy fire - and is one of the things that will help increase your end of level skill bonus.

Keys: Your wish is my command I'll add the 'z' button as an extra fire - we will likely release an update in the coming days so it will be in that build.

Just played it through a second time and had way more fun, first time I was basically flying from one end of the level to the next and didn't realise that flipping worked as a dodge. This time I was flipping out all over the place - seems like the trick is turning around so you're far away enough to shoot and destroy what you're aiming at but not to go too far so that you lose time flying around or too close so that you need another pass (the inability to fire while flipping lasts just long enough that it makes too much flipping feel punishing).

Got 58,359 second time anyway. Need someone else on here to beat me to bait me to aim higher :P
