It'll be a Pro Support (4k/60fps) and the retail price will be $39.99, so the price should be similar to here.

Say, £30-£40 for three games which is pretty reasonable I have to say.

I mean you can complete one of them in a couple of hours, they would have not done well being released separately.

Might be a stupid question but is this PS4 only?

I think it's one of those timed exclusives.

£30-£40 for 3 games (one of which is 20 years old) is a bit steep in my opinion, even if they have tarted them up. £15-£20 should be the absolute maximum.

You know what would have been a clever feature? If you could press a button and the game reverts back to the originals (ala Monkey Island).

Apparently the guy who did the music for the PS games was interested in working on the project but Activison didnt want to know. Weird, as he even still owns the master copies and score. They could have redone the whole lot.

I'd perhaps be interested in this but after a recent attempt at replaying the first one with a couple of friends I was reminded of just how frustrating the game; Slippery Climb in particular could be. I managed to 100% this back in the day but I don't think I have the reflexes or the patience anymore :D

Yeah, it times it was an infuriating game.

Never played 1 but the second two are perfect

1 was so difficult. 2 and 3 are amazing (and 1 is still great, plus they're going to make it easier to save at any point).

Right from the get go the first game was a ball ache, that long bridge made of boxes in the first level :dread:

I hated the walls that separated the islands. I never progressed past I think it was the middle point of island 3.

The later two games also supported analogue controls, though they were better implemented in 3.

That was an incredibly difficult time for me. I think I used to read GamesMaster back then and it got like 60% which was about as low as their scale went. They complained about the awful loading times and the game just feeling wrong and I was insistent that they were in the wrong and that Crash with the added power of the PS2 was going to blow my socks off (shows how young and naive I was).

Getting that game home and playing it was quite possibly the most disappointing gaming experience of my life. I still remember where I was and how I felt.

Crash 1 was damn hard but after rinsing 2 and 3 I went back and finished it. Wasn't easy.

For some crazy reason they stuck the game on a blue CD-ROM rather than a DVD. This not only sent loading times into the stratosphere it also made the game incredibly loud to play. I got stuck on a level featuring a hamster wheel/rollercoaster type contraption.

That was bad design. I very quickly resolved that I would just aim to get through the game rather than getting 100%, unlike (say) the first Jak and Daxter where I got 100% with a relative minimum of effort.

This is listed as exclusive to PS4 in the latest newsletter, so definitely not coming to Xbox at launch.

I mean Naughty Dog literally made the original games and Sony published them. I don't see how Sony would allow them on Xbox unless they got a large cut of the profits.
