Are you trying to say that looks like a PS2 game? Because...

And that's an uprezed emulated version.

It was yesterday so we will know the release date sometime today. :D

Do you just randomly post these? It's like a NeoGaf response except it makes even less sense.

Hope it's soon, they've already missed the 20th anniversary by 5 months.

I know. I think it will be on June or July release to avoid a couple of games like Yooka-Laylee.

Stick it in a PlayStation 1 box ya gooseberry fools!

Still can't believe they did that with Tomb Raider last year and didn't release it.

Nice. :D

The remastered Crash Bandicoot collection headed to PlayStation 4 arrives on June 30, Activision announced today.

The Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy collection includes the first three Crash games: Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and Crash Bandicoot: Warped.

The remastered trilogy features new lighting, animations, cinematics enhanced for 4K and the PS4 Pro, and a fully remastered soundtrack. It also will have full analog stick support, along with new unified save and checkpoint systems.

Vicarious Visions, which is handling the work of updating the classics, also improved the game’s bonus levels and time trials, and recreated the intro cinematic with updated graphics and sound.

The trilogy will cost $39.99.

$40 is likely to be what, £30?

Crash Bandicoot is to my family and I what Mario is to people whose first console was a NES/SNES but even I think that is on the high side.

If they release it in a PS1 box though, all bets are off. Will buy two.

That's lovely. If jewel cases weren't so easy to break I'd love to have them back.

Presumably a reference to the fact that the first episode didn't originally have it?

This looks great! As long as they're accurate remakes, I think folks will be surprised how well these games hold up as solid platformers.

Hoping it's 60fps as some parts of the trailer were, but a Digital Foundry preview was in 30 so who knows.
