Did you reach out to Naughty Dog during the N. Sane Trilogy's development process?

We have. Since we worked directly with Sony on this, it reached out to Naughty Dog. Before we premiered gameplay at PSX, Sony took our build of the first Crash game to Naughty Dog and had Evan Wells and a few other folks sit down and play it. They were blown away. They had a very similar reaction from what we're seeing from everyone else where it's this sensation of: "It's just as I remember it!" And that was amazing to hear.

But to hear it from the creators themselves was really validating. They gave us their feedback at that point, but when we showed them Crash Bandicoot 2 and Crash Bandicoot: Warped, they told us that we nailed it. At this point, it feels good to know that they're in our corner and that they've trusted us enough to deliver the goods.

Well, it seems like Naughty Dog have approved with it. :toot:

CRASH BANDICOOT N. SANE TRILOGY

We’re rolling out the orange carpet (literally!) to bring the Crash N. Sane Experience to E3 attendees in the South Hall Lobby where players will be able to get their hands on the retro-tastic and remastered Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. Word is that Crash Bandicoot himself will be there, ready and waiting for you to take a selfie with him and populate your social media channels.

The Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is available for preorder now, and be sure to keep your eyes peeled for a special Crash announcement during E3!

The Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will be playable at the Crash N. Sane Experience in the South Hall Lobby. Just look for the orange carpet!

Does no-one else think this looks a bit naff? The textures are too flat, everything is too shiny, and it just feels like a crap Deviantart project.

The original versions have much more charm and don't actually look too bad nowadays thanks to a decent art style.

It just doesn't have the vibrancy of something like Mario Odyssey. It's another level technically but artistically it just doesn't look right or all that appealling.

Doubt it at this stage, unless they release it after a while if sales are poor.

Here are the review scores so far

* Destructoid - 8.5/10
* Gamespot - 6/10
* Gamesradar - 3.5/5 (7/10)
* Game Informer - 8/10
* IGN - 8.5/10
