They have a limited print run and they're massively popular. I have numbers 1, 2 and 4, and I ordered 5 earlier today. Will probably pick up 3 at some point, if I can find it for a decent price...

The gamesTM compilations go for a fair bit, too; I have all 3 of them.

The GC edition of Resident Evil 2 goes for £30 and upwards on a regular basis. It's a pain in the ass as it's the only one I need to have the full complement of GC Resi games. :x

Good Gamecube stuff is always expensive now. It makes me regret trading all my Gamecube games in for peanuts back when I was on JSA six years ago and desperate for cash. From what I've seen on eBay I'd have been sitting on a veritable gold mine now as at one point in time I've owned almost every major Gamecube title :fp:

This is why I have earmarked by GC collection as one I will never ever trade in. I think the only title I've ever traded it (and not bought back... as I remember giving a few to people here in trades) is Star Wars: The Clone Wars and TimeSplitters 2.

I'm only missing a few big titles, like Wario Ware GC. I have all the Resi games, Chibi Robo, Twilight Princess, Tales and even Mario Baseball, which I think had a very limited run in this country.

So strange how the Gamecube is one of the cheapest systems out there, yet its games have retained their value so well...I need to grab another copy of Wind Waker some time (thanks for selling it, bro ¬_¬).

All the expensive buy it now's on ebay are getting annoying to wade through. I can understand charging a bit extra 'convenience tax', but it's basically meant I almost always go for bids instead.

I don't think it's that strange. Think about it, Gamecube had a really small user base when compared to PS2. In fact I've only met 3 people that own/have owned Gamecubes. If nobody bought Gamecubes then nobody bought Gamecube games which is why the good ones still fetch a high price on eBay.

I was alluding more to the contrast of the system being so cheap (I'm sure a lot of its best games are more expensive than the system itself!). Then again the Wii being almost 100% compatible with all things Gamecube might be a significant factor in that...

Wow, I saw this while looking for Master System stuff: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SEGA-Master-S ... 500wt_1156

Basically a Brazil-only Master System port of a bad Game Gear Sonic game. But look at the price!

Key word in bold there sir! Though admittedly that was a clumsy way of putting it. There's also the case of the broadband adapter stuff not working. GBA Player is basically the one reason I can imagine having a GC hooked up down the line.

maybe if we all chipped in we could buy this...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Games-Busines ... 23136e8696

then split everything...
