Christ sake, Dave, start singing again. You can do it so much better than that screech...

I like it. It reminds me of Mike Patton.

I'm with you on that. Strangeways is good, but it's not a big enough departure and doesn't have that knowing wink that TQID has, at least not to my ears it doesn't.

The new Foos song is great, hope the rest of the album is up to that standard. It actually sounds better live i think >

To be honest, the live version does sound better, but only because they don't have that distortion effect on the sections where he actually sings.

Yeah, I hope he doesn't do that for the entirety of the new album. I really don't like his screaming voice :shifty:

Refused are the strawberry floating bomb. They're the only screamo band I can stand.

That foo fighters song is cool. I just started listening to QOTSA and FF just this week, actually.

This is malignant for diapered cartoon girls crutches as well

Read on FB the new album is mastered now. Shouldn't be long then.

The new Foos song is actually ok. That said it's still not great tbh, just better than the vast majority of stuff they've made.

Aye, saw that as well :D Their FB and Twitter pages are amazing, one of the few bands that uses them effectively, rather than pushing promotion constantly.

Awesome. I think I'd prefer Grohl to bring the vocals a little back this way, but still, this was entirely unexpected.

Went to see Chapel Club last night and they were really great. Fantastic live band. They got a really good reception and I think they sold the venue out, which is always nice as well. :)

I'll admit, I'm not really Arcade Fire fan. But by god am I trying to like them, and I think Neon Bible is doing it for me. So far 'Black Mirror', 'Intervention' and 'My Body is a Cage' are the stand out tracks for me. I don't know why the band hadn't really clicked before, in ways I've always seen them as trying too hard, if that makes any sense.

But anyway, I think with a few more listens I may well be a converted fan.

Other then that, I cannot get enough of this track....

It's made up of Canadian opera singer Rachel Zeffira, and Horrors front man Faris Badwan. Such a gorgeous track.
