Started Wolfenstein: The New Order on the Xbone today, and gave Warframe another go (tried it on the PC ages ago).

Warframe is still shite. Wolfenstein is bloody fun to play.

Thinking of picking up Wolfenstein on the cheap for Xmas. It sound like my kind of FPS. On an awesome scale of Bulletstorm to Resistance 3, how good is it?

Saints Row IV. I am enjoying it, seems to be filled with content. The open world feels massively disconnected from the story missions. Kinda hate having my superpowers stripped.

It's like your bog-standard hi-tech nazi-killing FPS game, but with some boobies and duel wielding sniper rifles. The gunplay is very satisfying thanks to the copious amounts of gore and the hit animations, also some of the best 'knife you in the face' animations in gaming.

Will probably pick it up. Sounds like my kind of game.

I bought Zone Of The Enders 2nd Runner in the PSN sale last week. Played Watched the first 30 minutes and I had literally no idea what was happening. It got better once I was actually in control and kicking ass so I played anout 30 minutes afterwards. Seems really difficult so far.

It's definitely a Kojima ass Kojima game, though.

Destiny (PS4) - Now had a few games online now with GRCadians and randoms and am starting to get into it a bit more. The game does feel quite uncreative for a new IP from such a large developer and publisher! I think I will play and enjoy the came over the next month, but will probably finish once the main story has been completed and I have had enough of shooting the same enemies over and over again. Pretty much a 7/10 type of videogame - good, but nowhere near great.

Yakuza 4 - Finally getting into this. Was last on Chapter 1 when I left it back in July 2011! Am now on Chapter 2 and am really loving just wandering around and completing a few side quests as well as getting into the story. Such a shame there isn't a western release of Yakuza 5!

Been playing Destiny an hour or so every night, a bit of co-op on Diablo with the daughter and Borderlands 2 with my son and daughter.

Yes?

Just found my copy of animal crossing under my bed. Genuinely scared to load it up and discover what's happened to my town

He had very little to do with the Zone of the Enders games. From the sounds of it, he gave some advice during development of the first one, and his name was slapped all over it to help sales and boost interest.

It was very much a 'B team' project.

Dat music as well :datass:

I even love the god-awful voice acting. Some of the worst in recent memory :slol:

Really enjoying Sims 4 still, although I'm looking forward to Hyrule Warriors to try mix things up when gaming.

I ended up making houses... then scrapping them as I didn't like any of them  Enjoying the building just not final product :shifty:

Zelda II

Well, I haven’t played it for a couple of weeks, but hoping to get back on it this weekend and finally put it to bed. I’m just about the make my way to the final palace, but wonder if I should do a bit of grinding beforehand. Think I’m 8-8-7 in terms of levels. Got a feeling the final palace is gonna be a bitch.

Assassins Creed III - Mostly a steaming pile of garbage but for some reason Im persevering with it. Its like they sat down, decided what all the fun bits were in AC and just threw them away and made this tedious rubbish instead. There was one nice bit last night though: I assassinated a British general from the top of a flag pole with the union flag on it, the one proper assassination mission Ive done so far.

There also doesnt seem to be any incentive to be an actual assassin, when things go wrong just stand there and counter kill your way out of the situation, pay off a town crier and its like it never happened. The previous games had this to some degree as well but Ive never felt so invincible or so unmotivated to do anything the way an assassin would.

Well, it has his signature all over it. Maybe his protege was in charge.

Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D (3DS).

Some of the reviewers of Tropical Freeze said that that game is harder than Returns. They are clearly mental.

I'm playing Return on new (read: easy) mode and it's still doing my head in. Whoever at Retro thought it was a good idea to have a world with just minecart and rocket barrel levels needs to get a different position, liek bringing tea and coffee to their colleagues.
Some of the KONG letters and puzzle pieces are just sadistic. Having only one checkpoint piggy per level doesn't make things easier either...

Still enjoying it a lot though.

Oh, and: Dragon Quest VIII on my Galaxy S5. The vertical orientation is very weird (though not as irritating as I thought it would be) and controlling your character in tight spaces (like houses) can be a disaster. Still: it looks beautiful on the S5's screen and, well, it's Dragon Quest. I never played VIII before either.

Playing quite a few games at the mo. A lot of them don't quite grab me enough to want to finish before playing something else, but all are keeping me going through slowly:

PS4:
- Wolfenstein - the stealth bits piss me off tbh. Just want blasting action m'kay?
- Sniper Elite 3 - this is the stealth game I want to play. I'm so sneaky it's taking me 90 mins per mission! Bit easy to shoot, run away, hide till timer runs out, rinse & repeat but it's very satisfying sniping someone's nuts off from distance!

Xbone:
- Forza 5 - it's the only full game I have on this apart from the free GWG ones which I never try. It's ok for 30 min blasts or so. Driver level around 24 I think but Avatar only something like 30% synced (whatever that means?)

PSVita:
- Lego Batman 2 - just started this the other day now I finished Walking Dead and having played this on 360 about 18 mths ago, I'm flying through levels whenever I play (on lunch usually). It's a 360-lite version that's for sure though
- Tales of Montezuma Blitz - I play this daily and just scored personal best of 209million+. Currently ranks me 88th in the world leaderboards for this week. TragicDan - where are you man, you used to challenge me on this but ain't see you play it for a-g-e-s
- Football Manager - cartridge hasn't come out of the Vita since it went in about 2 months ago but having got Forest into the Prem, I've barely started the 2nd season. Probably cos I'm enjoying their real life performances and I was finding myself wondering why players I'd got in my Vita version, weren't playing for real on the pitch!
- Fez - this has grown on me since I played the demo a year or so ago. Courtesy of cross-play on PS3, PS4 & PSV, I'm a few hours into this and it's not bad.
- Rainbow Moon - bought it cos of a mate at work played the gooseberry fool out of it and rated it. barely started it

PS3:
- Driver San Fran - enjoying it immensely when I can be bothered (or remember) to resume it.
- NFS: MW - love this game. Finished it on Vita a year or so ago and own the 360 disc version too, plus this PS+ offering. Just beaten the #1 Most Wanted car and I have around 5million SP in this game, at least 1million ahead of any of you lot on my friends list anyway! :datass:
- Bioshock Infinite - started it when we got it on PS+ a few months ago and apart from the first couple of hours play, haven't gone back to it since. Must rectify that

360:
- GTA V - really need to finish this as I'm a long way into the game. Brilliant fun
- Skyrim - I just popped this disc back into the 360 last night and continued from last save which was from July 2012! Struggling to remember what I was doing or controls!

I must cut back on games..... :dread:

Just back from game.

had £15 burning a hole in my reward card and an itch for some WWII gaming.

Grabbed a wiiU eshop card and COD world at world, medal of Honor airborne assault and Brother's in arms hell's highway.

Never played a Brothers in arms game, anygood?

Literately finished Classic COD, the first WWII one on PS3, many memmories, love the opening chapters of being the U.S airborne pathfinder, very cinematic for it's time.

Spent tonight playing good old Killzone SF Warzones against a the AI. My offline career goes from strength to strength - now that career progression has been unlocked for offline play on all the MP maps against the AI in all game modes I just made it to Sergeant Level II and I've unlocked some more tasty gear that it's been fun trying out in different configurations. Some great matches. The AI here is fantastic - tough at times (and quite crafty) but one never feels it's being at all unfair. Best of all, your AI squad mates all seem very keen to do their jobs, too, which just adds to the enjoyment.

I really do love the level design and visuals here, too. Still the best-looking game (so far) on PS4 for me, by quite some distance. Hugely underrated imo - it's baffling how the game seems to attract such indifference from gamers in general. My most played PS4 game - and Guerilla have been great at continually updating and adding to the core experience with more maps and modes.

My new room mate moved in last night, at 2am of all times so I had a shock this morning when I woke up, walked into the living room and saw him sitting on the couch. Turns out he is was big Phantasy Star Online fan and had a level 200 character a few years ago. Me and him have been playing co-op on PSO Episodes for gamecube all day, we played through the entirety of episode 1 and have just beaten Gal Gryphon on Episode 2, after that we agreed to stop playing. I decided to check his characters profile to see how much time we had played for, 7 hours and 45 minutes. I can't remember the last time where I have just played a game like that with complete disregard for the passing of time.

PSO multiplayer certainly is something special.

Gears of War II

Very much enjoying it so far. I can't remember much about the first game as it's been so long since I played it, but this seems a bit brighter and more colourful than what I remember of GOW I. Cover and shooting mechanics are still fun, I just wish my AI colleagues would stop running in front of my line of fire all the time. We're supposed to be in cover, shooting, back in cover, move forward when clear. Why are you running all over the place back and forth? :x
