Finally powered my way through most of Super Stardust HD. About time, too, as I've had it for nearly 2.5 years :fp: The last few trophies are a bitch though, especially Late Boomer. :x

turning into real dislike now. Creeping down to 5/10.

:(

Think I'll leave my copy sealed then.

Im just finding it frustrating.

The pallet doesn't help with my eyes, half the time I can see strawberry float all but I'm just finding a lot of it more frustration than fun.

I liked the first.

Each to their own.

don't do that on my account rik.

Perhaps I've played it too soon after the first. Perhaps I expected more than pretty much a rehash and also my specific sight problems will be making it far harder for me as I can rarely distinguish a lot of the enemies from the background sadly.

I am trying to finish it though.

And now it's just crashed on me, it wants me to hate it. I am trying to be nice and finish it anyway but this is very annoying, total ps3 lock up.

Sliva - I'm not bothered about weeaboo, mainly because I'm deaf thus don't have to hear their annoying voices. :P I just really like Persona series; and it's pretty simple to get into them :shifty:

That being said, I do need to track copy of these games you listed in that post. Got Persona 3: FES (had original); and both Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Sagas.

I nearly joked that  Seeing as Dark Souls was my favourite I kind of realised we have very different tastes.

But there's plenty in this that would and should be to my taste and I enjoyed the first, it just hasn't worked for me this time.

I thought chalkitdown's fav game of last year was Dark Souls as well, colour me surprised.

On the subject, I didn't really enjoy Infamous 2, it seemed to be a bit of a letdown after one, hated the city after you leave the first area, which probably did it no favours for me.

inFamous 2 really got into its groove when it hit Flood Town. That part of the map feels amazing to traverse, the architecture tells a story all of its own. Especially loved all the graffiti done by stranded survivors. I thought the second half was a vast improvement, the opening is too similar to the first and lacks any real drive, by the time the final act comes along and the story knows what it's doing it became rather special.

Not for me yet sadly, right at last run too, all city powered up. Is more varied though in locations at this stage as said.

Dustforce

An indie platformer released last night and it is fantastic! Looks a bit similar to Super Meat Boy, but other than it being a platformer the similarities end. More similar to Trackmania in addictiveness, it is awesome.

Oh, and its on Steam for you crazy kids.

Lego Grand Theft Auto... You KNOW you would buy it.

And me.

The only problem I had was the lack in variety in the side missions.

Agreed. Everything else felt slicker and fully fleshed out compared to the original. The traversing in 2 was so much fun.

Have you two played Festival of Blood? It's pretty cheap on PSN now, but a lot of fun.

The platformy side of infamous 2 is really good btw. Happy with that side of it.
