Amalur is entertaining enough. A bit like 'my first RPG' and is easy to dip in and out of without getting completely lost as to where you were and what is going on.

Started Arkham City. Visually it's a bit rough around the edges on the PS3, but the gameplay is excellent.

The 2nd one is class, still. I'd go 1 > 2 > Infinite.
I play 3 at the back on Fifa 8-) Get leathered most matches :fp:

Cool, I didn't want to miss it but didn't know if it was 'the one that nobody talks about' in the series.

I'm playing a 4-3-3 at the moment, with 2 CMs and either a DM or AM. I'll have to smash you soon 8-) you're on PS4, right?

Finally 3-star'd every cup on Mario Kart 7 so all focus is on Psychonauts (PC) at the moment.

I think I'm just past halfway (although I've took my time going back to levels and collect everything I've missed first time through). I don't really "love" it but it's still good game, can recommend it to someone if they fancy good platformer game.

Does crash few times out of blue though and without that fix all button promots are in KB&M, annoying considering I mainly use 360 pad for it.

I never finished that game because of the Meat Circus. Absolutely horrible level.

Booking Revolution.

Just put on a 5 star 18 man tables match. With added guns for fun. Won by Spike Dudley. The new world champion. However it was overshadowed due to the deaths of Terry Funk and Al Snow due to injurys sustained in the match. Utterly insane. Best wrestling game around by absolute miles.

South Park - The Stick of Truth (360) - I'm not sure how I feel about this to be honest. The presentation is mostly spot on but I don't know if it's just the 360 version (or using a wireless controller) but I find the battles to be quite laggy and fiddly. I'm definitely enjoying it but not as much as a I thought I would.

FFX (PS3) - I'm very near the end
inside Sin
but I'm not sure I can be bothered to continue as I think I'd need to do a fair bit of grinding to beat the last portion of the game. I enjoyed it while it lasted though, except for Blitzball which is still shite in HD.

Harvest Moon - A New Beginning (3DS) - I have a soft spot for this series and 'Tale of Two Towns' was a bit of a letdown so this has been a pleasant surprise. The initial tutorials and in-game days are Assassin Creed 3 levels of dull but once I got past those I started to love it.

It seems PC patch made it easier as once you got used to the jumps it's not too bad. Considering between sections the guy you need to defend always has max HP so you don't need to worry about HP management, just getting to him asap.

I've just 100%ed it with all achievements obtained (had to re-load early save so I can do these achievements I've missed first time around). Pretty good game, shame it goes bit meh at end (in terms of levels, I really liked the ending) but otherwise very good platformer game.

In the middle of Deadpool, gameplay is so-so, but it's funny as strawberry float. Deadpool

Need to start that. I probably will once I'm back home, trying to clear up my Steam backlog

Been playing Mario Kart 7 as usual. I'm all done with singleplayer content on that other than occasional time trials (shame it lacks VS Mode) so it's been online lately for me.

Finished Mario Kart Wii earlier so loaded up Mario Kart 64 on the Wii VC and it just feels so... rubbish. So I went for F-Zero GX instead. First time i've played it, but that was brilliant. Even on 50cc or whatever it is on this, the races seem so tight and close.

Mario Kart 64 gets better at 100cc, not sure if you can go to that straight or you had to finish 50cc first. 50cc MK64 is worst thing about it.

That being said I did play it loads back then so I've always really liked it. MK64 Battle Mode is still best, however.

Currently playing a combination of Cabela's Big Game Hunter Pro Hunts and Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends Complete Edition (both PC)

The former is surprisingly enjoyable and tense, and is what Sniper Elite should have been like. It can take ages crawling through the undergrowth to get in position downwind and out of sight, and its very satisfying to nail a clean shot.

The latter is also enjoyable and a lot of fun, much deeper that it often gets credit for. The castle-building 'Ambition Mode' is fun but grindy, will probably stick to the main campaign modes that follow the course of the novel more.

Replaying a couple of GC games on Dolphin.

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door

Looks so good upscaled to HD resolution, doesn't seem like a 10 year old game. I've never actually finished it before so hopefully I'll see it through to the end this time.

Mario Golf Toadstool Tour

Had this a few days originally before accidentally snapping the disc so most courses are new to me, a few emulation glitches on menus but gameplay wise its perfectly playable.

Put in good amount of hours on this last night and this is perfectly how I feel. I do enjoy the gameplay but it's really basic and nothing special but I genuinely laughed out loud more than few times with it. Glad I got it in xmas sale before Marvel took it down from store (as license expired)
