Just started Assassin's Creed 4, and it's grabbed me instantly. Only a few hours in but I love the world and especially love the sailing.

I really enjoyed AC2, and also enjoyed Brotherhood and then have up on Revelations before skipping AC3. I think the break has done me good although I'm not sure if ill end up feeling it would be better as a standalone pirate game.

Lego Marvel Super Heroes

Well this is fun isn't it? I enjoyed what I played of the first Lego Batman, but because I'm more of a Marvel fan this already tops it. Not played much but it's already made me laugh a few times and it's lots of fun smashing stuff with the Hulk and swinging around as Spidey. Loving the little touches like Deadpool appearing in the background every now and then.

Far Cry 3.

On last island and I can't help but think it feels bit of slug. At least it gives you wingsuit which is most fun I've ever used, jump off mountains and glide around but otherwise... eh.

Will keep going and see if it improves but if not I'll just focus on main quests.

Yeah I'm getting bored by Far Cry 3.

It would've been better game if it stopped at first island and potentially add more stuff to that island to make it feel like it's worth exploring, but alas it just feels like there's nothing over the longer directions; unless you go relic hunting and I don't think you even get anything by getting all 120 of them (and you'll reach enough experience points to get every skill before you even get to 60 relics; if you do every outpost/hunting/supply drops). And hunting loses purpose once you've gotten enough to craft all of possible upgrades you can do.

Ah well, it's still good game. I'll just try get it completed tomorrow (60 relics; all hunter quests cleared and beat every main missions) before uninstalling it.

Stick it to the man. Not overly exciting, but something to help pass the time until inFamous Second Son becomes £30 in CEX.

Wolfenstien A New Order & Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.

Former's brilliant. I'm not too sure on Blood Dragon so far, I don't really like the graphic setting and it just doesn't feel fun as original Far Cry 3. At least the island isn't too big so may as well go all way to end including 100% completed.

edit: Gets bit better now I'm used to it, but I still miss my explosive/fire arrows :( I've just done all optional stuff (except one animal left to hunt) so tomorrow I'll focus on main story.

Unfortunately the sound design plays a large part of what makes that game great. It's a shame you won't be able to experience it.

Been making some real progress with Wipeout HD. I came, I conquered & I sent that super, slimey scumbag AI crying back to it's mother. Not strawberry floating clever now are you, little Jimmy.
I've unlocked the last set of races & I'm close to the platinum :datass:

Just started this. Loving it so far, the soundtrack especially. Blasting away with the rifle thing while this pumping music starts up. 8-)

Anyone know if you're able to return to previous areas? Not getting the impression that you can (think I might have missed a collectable or two).

Batman Blackgate

Fun in its own stripped down way. Doesnt feel very Metroidvania though as it seems to be a series of rooms (and upgrades seem to only unlock secrets, not other routes)

You can return to any point whole island and collect everything even post-game, there's no stuff that's missable.

Started into the NES remix 1 and 2 on the wiiu.

Good craic, the challenges, I think it's a good way to introduce these old games to a new generation and it's full on quick hits.

Gets hard a strawberry float too.

Muramasa Rebirth - Pretty but ugh at all that backtracking.

Okami HD - Another nice looking game but am not that far in yet. (freed the village)

Persona 4 GOLDEN - Over 130 hours later and I am in NG+ and still loving it.

Managed to win my first phantom race (elite difficulty) on Wipeout HD.
Had a tasty tea whilst the AI was feeling demoralised & sorry for itself.
