It is a terrific game. Terrible in some ways (controls and technical aspects), but sublime in others (plot, script and general weirdness). The game does cause extremes of opinion and I'm firmly on the "it's a classic" side. What format are you playing on, Dig Dug?

Xbox 360 because I heard the ways they tried to fix it in Directors Cut ruined some of the original charm.

Deadly Premonition is such a mixed game. It certainly deserves to be played though. Just stick it on Easy and plough through it for the plot. The story is really good and at times really weird and amusing. It has some bizarre gooseberry fool happen towards the end.

It can be quite hard at first. I remember losing my way on the map because there was no way to tell where North is and the map rotates for some reason. Quite confusing.

Pokémon X every now and then. There's not much to do to be honest but I wanted to raise some Pokémon when waiting for Omega Ruby.

Really hope Omega Ruby has more stuff to do outside of main game, X there's far too little of the content to keep me hooked... ah well.

I started MM9 last night. Beat three of the Robot masters. This is quite challenging. Game overed like 3 times, couldn't beat Concrete Man and Splashwoman. I must say how well designed it is. Missing the slide move though.

I've put a good solid 10 hours into this today, it's quickly becoming my favourite xbox 360 game ever.

Mega Man 9 might be the hardest game I have ever played. It makes all the other ones look trivial in comparison. Tornado Man's stage might be the hardest MM level in the classic series. I can't even make it to the boss room. It is mental.

Gotta nail this mummy strawberry floater of a level. I'll give it a try tonight. If not, I think I'm gonna stop playing. I can only take so much rage.

Why the dread, Grassy? Going out hunting with Fawkes is a highlight of the last gaming generation. Such a great game.

Fawkes was OP. Kept on hearing gunshots behind and I turn around to Fawkes exploding peoples limbs. Good times.

Got to the twin devils in MM9. I'm done. I cannot take the brutality.

How difficult are the bobbleheads to find? I've completed the main quest of Fallout 3 and nearly all the DLC (although I'm guessing there aren't any in the DLC) and I think I've only got 3. Going round with Fawkes is great though.

Zelda II

Struggling with the boss in Ocean Palace now. Such a pain in the arse that you get maybe two attempts at the boss, then if you die you have to go all the way back to the start of the game and re-trace your steps. Ugh.

F-Zero GX

Playing Story Mode, just come up against the F-Zero GP (mission 8, I think). Can't even finish the race on the three or four attempts I've had so far. :slol:

Played the opening section of Dishonored yesterday as it's free to play this weekend on steam. Just reached the part where you unlock blink, and I've been very impressed by what I've played so far.

I don't normally get on with FPS games, but I like the plot, the option to tackle situations in different ways and the excellent production values. Tempted to play a bit more but I'll probably wait until the GOTY edition is on sale and play through the lot together. I was also surprised that my laptop handled on medium comfortably, so hopefully it will be able to handle the likes of the Arkham games too.

I'll probably get stuck into The Wolf Among Us or The Walking Dead S2 this weekend.

The game is so good I always get sidetracked. It's taken me years to find 5/6 :shifty:

Grassy, this talk has reminded me that I need to venture back into the game. After an eighteen-month break it feels like it's time to return to the wastelands. It's easily my game of that generation.

Captain America: super soldier (ps3)

Got this for the mrs a whirl back on i port as she loves a bit of Cap. After watching winter solider I was in the mood for this so I'm about half way through I think.

It's a poor man's arkham clone and it's a bit rubbish, but I'm also really enjoying it.

Just getting into DanganRonpa 2 and playing a lot of Titanfall. I'm surprised I'm still on Titanfall without the map packs, been playing it since day one. I do miss the lean feature from Wolfenstien in all FPS now.

I was playing that last weekend, I think, and it's incredible even 11 years after its release. The F-Zero GP is mission 8; I stopped playing at mission 8 which is the race against Deathborn. It's a real shame that something as simple as 30 players online in F-Zero isn't being made by Nintendo, or at least outsourced like GX was.
