Midnight Suns again. First time with the DLC and Deadpool and Morbius have both been excellent additions so far. Nice to see Blade slaying vampires too!

Started my second run of Violet the other night, not going to be rushing through it, but at the same time I won't be rushing to complete everything like I did in my initial run of Scarlet, I'll probably slowly make my way through Scarlet again when I'm done with Violet, although I think if you just go to the 18 objectives, it won't take huge amount of time really. I've also made it quicker by trading in some hatched/EV trained Pokemon, done a starter team for Scarlet as well.

Just installed (and briefly tested) the Stardew Valley Expanded mod, my god it's glorious.

Really impressed with the extra stuff they've added, especially the extra fish to catch.

Just reached Mexico in Red Dead Redemption which is the furthest I’ve ever got in this. Still liking the game but I’m solely focusing on main lining it, the world itself is very bland and empty, not how I remembered it when I first dabbled with it on X360

After about 40 hrs pissing about doing side quests I’m finally progressing in the campaign of Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen. I’m currently up to the Wyrm Hunt quests. I understand there are 4 but you only need to do 2 to progress however I assume you can still do all 4 for maximum rewards, experience etc.

I’m frustrated somewhat with myself as after so many hours carefully avoiding getting locked out of any quests in Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen I’ve finally locked myself out of a quest line simply by approaching a door before meeting with some NPC… I suppose there’s always NG+ :x

I'm on chapter 4 of Future Redeemed. Constantly rewards you for putting the time into it. Going to be sad when I finish it. Like it a lot, much better than Torna.

Played a round of Buckshot Roulette last night, won but it was very close. Think it’s unlocked a new mode to play with so will try another run using that later. Feels very much like it belongs in Inscryption  the set up of the camera and view is very much like the card game portion of that game.

Combat isn’t the best (so run away!) and there are some glitches, but I don’t get how some of the review scores are so low. It’s not meant to be Resi 4, thank god! Nicely slow-paced, and absolutely dripping in atmosphere.

Chapter 5 now, which is presenting itself as the end… but I’m half expecting a big twist. Excellent story and gameplay.

The bad reviews were way off on this. Maybe they played Carnby’s story first (or only).

There’s a superb moment in chapter 4, where it switches to fixed-camera gameplay for a few minutes, like the originals, and Emily says how everything feels weird.

Just 2 missions now from the end of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, the side quests were getting a little samey so i decided to crack on with the main story.

I now also have Stray and Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth ready and waiting for when i do finally finish Avatar.

Still chipping away at Violet, its amazing how relatively short it feels when you're basically just running between the 18 objectives and fighting the odd trainer in-between, may not be the case, but if feels like it runs better on a fresh save thats been restarted after all the patches, I have not got to the lake yet though.

I have started playing Final Fantasy XIV for real and not just treating it as Second Life. Both on PS5 (which I've already racked up 90~ hours on) and PC, though I'm also playing Street Fighter 6 (PC) and will be going back to Final Fantasy IX to do some of optional stuff before starting Final Fantasy X.

13 hours into Future Redeemed and I realise you can get AP for registering Collectopedia entries. I have no idea how I missed this.

Haven't you already put 000s of hours into FF XIV, Seven? What does the "for real" aspect signify, dude?

Past two months all I've been going on it just to socialise with people and not playing the game at all. I have friends on it and enjoy talking to people, but I've only started to want to play it 'for real' again recently - hence Second Life joke. (Second Life is hardly a game as its very much social app)

Ah! I see, man. Yeah, it'd be good if you got back into the game.

Playing Dishonored on Steam Deck, game looks and plays great, I have played this before but never did the DLC so wanted to play the whole thing, also wanted to play through Arkane’s back catalogue :datass:

Still Violet, although nearing the end slowly but surely. I have all the legendary Pokémon to catch as well as doing the bulk of the Indigo Disk. Biggest time sink so (well, it felt it) far has been doing the gym leaders again before doing the ace tournament. Kitikami was short and sweet, still enjoy the story with Ogerpon.

Edit, for my second runs of these I’m not using Poke balls to catch the legendary stuff, I’ll use the vastly superior Timer Balls, it’ll make it loads quicker

Edit 2, all legendary stuff caught, just need to finish off the DLC and catch the final one.

Brilliant game. Genuinely one of the best of that generation.

And a superb fit for steam deck. I played through it when I first got my deck.
