Now on with Paper Mario on the N64 Online App, just about to start chapter 1, enjoyed the prologue and its very clear to see how they advanced the game from Mario RPG on the SNES, to The Thousand Year Door on the GC. Looking forward to slowly making my way through it, according to how long to beat, it's about 25-30 hours, so a decent length really.

Earth Defence Force 5 - PS5 - one of the most fun games ever, countless enemies on screen, ridiculous destruction and giant bugs. I've finished it and the DLC but keep returning to try to complete levels on higher difficulty for more rewards.

Ratchet and Clank - Rift Apart - PS5 - started a new save, pure fun and the options to skip all puzzle sections. Really smooth to play.

Wish my image sig would work

Not sure if I ask this in the right place?

Does anyone play Tinykin? What's it like?

I played it few years ago on Xbox and it's very very fun! Basically it's like Pikmin but more platforming rather than RTS-style. I had lot of fun exploring the levels and the story was cute enough, highly recommended.

Don't bother going for 100% achievements though, one of them requires you to find *every* tinykin in each level and at time I was playing there was no way of telling which ones I didn't grab in each level. That's only flaw it has though, love the game.

Having finished FF1-6 I've started FF7 again this time on PS4. I... do not remember it being so slow. Thank god 3x exists lol

But yeah, having fun with it. Even if I forgot to save manually because I'm so used to FF1-6 Pixel Remaster auto saving and died to enemy that was from safe (it was physical one after taking care of two halves) so I lost fair amount of progression... lol. Decided to go to bed after that, but will try again today as I'd like to get to endgame as soon as possible

Going back and forth now between Avatar, F1 23, and Cities Skylines.

Enjoying all three a great deal.

FE7, I'm on the second campaign. You can see the improvements they've made to later ones. But it is still pretty good.

Got to end game so i'm just grinding for trophies / to be able to fight ultimate weapons. Not going to lie, I abused boosters a lot on this playthrough. Was fun way to re-experience og FF7 story as I've done it legit loads of times (no thanks to shitty PS1 memory card I had lmao) so it was just chill all way to the end.

I played FFVII at the start of the year. The speed up function is a godsend.

I'm not going to lie I used HP/MP/Limit boost like, 90% of it. I've done it legit so many times on PS1 back in day, like got to CD3 more than handful of times but because I had gooseberry fool memory card at time it'd keep corrupting and for some reason younger me never stopped  Only managed to finish it legally with all ultimate weapons done via brother's copy of PC version back in day (then again on PS1 version @ PS3)

So yeah, may as well enjoy going through story and see funny numbers go up as I limit break every other turn lol.

Played and finished it for when Pedz had me on his podcast talking about it... Was really glad he picked it as I'd never played it before and I loved it.. I'd post a link to the podcast but I'm on my phone not laptop

Now that Final Fantasy 7 is beaten (again) I've moved to Final Fantasy 8 Remastered. It's another one where I'm not really fan of; even I prefer 7 to this one but I will say it does have very good opening hours and the story is still pretty good.

Not relying on HP/Limit Break boost for this one; just 3x speed with exception of boss fights (I only use that if during summon animation because yeah strawberry float putting up with that) as I've not played much of 8 as I do with 7.

Nearly finished FFVII Rebirth, maybe 2 chapters left (Mopping up as many of the side quests/open world bits until I get bored of them).

Considering replaying the original FFVII after but with mods, as I've never done so before and there are some nice looking ones after a brief browse.

I played it and I've completed it.

I loved it. Platinum too. 8-)

Got to CD3 part of FF8 and this is where my love for the game drops a little. The story goes silly, I'm not too fan of the 'futuristic' city at all and... I dunno, it just loses what made me really like it in first place.

It's still fun! But it's deffo my least favourite PS1-era Final Fantasy game for sure. Anyway I'm just mopping up optional stuff namely getting summons and possibly ultimate weapons for folks before going with the story now that I can fly anywhere.

Finally got the main campaign in Grounded wrapped up with Pedz tonight. Feels like we’d been playing it forever. Still got a few optional side missions to do but I’m about ready to move on to something else.

Just finished chapter 3 in Paper Mario N64, really enjoyed it, still feels like one of the best changes they made to the battle system between this and TTYD, was giving the party members their own health bar, some enemies hit really hard too!

Wow, you guys sure were playing that for a long time, Cumberdanes! Sounds like you both did a great job in completing the campaign.

It's crunch time.

My PlayStation Plus Essential sub is running out; it has about two days left. Either I'm gonna sack it off and start playing Final Fantasy XIV Online again, or I renew PS Plus and carry on with Fallout 76.

FF XIV = £7.69 each month with no PS Plus required
F76 = £11.99 each month plus PS Plus (£59.99 annual)

Right now I'm veering towards FF XIV but it sure will be a wrench to leave F76. I have to make a decision.

Feels like I'm halfway through chapter 4 on Paper Mario, so far it hasn't exactly been my favourite chapter, doesn't help I got stuck walking around for ages as I wasn't aware the item I needed was something I could freely decide whether to pick up or not from a back room in the shop after getting him his key back, I thought it was just a weird looking mushroom of some sorts

Edit, there is so much back and forth on this chapter, it’s ridiculous

Around 20 hours into Avatar now, been exploring the second area of the map which is quite different to the first.

Some of the missions are a little samey, but overall i am enjoying it a great deal.
