Fork or Chapatti normally. Or spoon if it's on rice crispies.

I've never known an Indian restaurant to give you a spoon for your cuzza. You use a fork and that's it. Maybe a knife if you have big chunks of chicken or lamb.

Did not like using hands, when I was abroad :dread:

You can't crack eggs with soup.

I use a fork and spoon too. In fact, if it's a restaraunt or takeaway meal I'll use a fork, spoon AND naan. With rice. 8-)

That's because they've adapted to British dining culture. Just like how Chinese restaurants in Scotland serve chips with curries.
Indians mostly use their hands (using leaves and bread etc), or spoons when eating.

I can't understand why someone would think a fork is better a spoon when it comes to curry. Except of course that it's not "normal" for brits to do so. Try it.

Well you can eat a curry with a fork, therefore you should for etiquette's sake. Most Indian Restaurants I go to give a spoon for serving from the dish the curry comes on onto your plate. When eating you should use the fork provided.

I normally use a fork but Japan doesn't seem to grasp that. Any time you go for curry anywhere it's all spoons, even Indian restaurants.

Could be similar to China "Here's some food which seems unsuitable for chopsticks, like soup or ribs. Now eat this with chopsticks".

Sounds like the premise for a segment of a Japanese game show.
