The final section wasn't especially interesting and it all ends on a bit of a damp squib narratively - kind of unavoidable given how it's pitched as something in the middle of an existing story which can't be changed, but still a shame given how well the Witcher 3 DLC managed to round out that story.

I disagree. I got the worst ending possible by siding with Idris and the president and losing all my abilities. Absolutely devastating end. But the songbird strawberry float Idris was a much better end..

In then spits you back into the main game, to go on your way depending on the outcome.

What are you playing on? It's definitely updated right? I've encountered a handful of minor bugs over 60 hours and had to restart a save once because I got locked out of the mission progressing but nothing like you're experiencing. Sounds a nightmare.

Series S mate, I redownloaded it only last week so it should be. Played another 30 mins without issue so fingers crossed it was just being weird today.

Just did a pretty lengthy and cool mission with Panam to down a flying transport with an EMP

Really loving this now. It's incredible the world they've built, really feels like a diverse metropolis. Some of the missions are brilliant too.

I am still being really unlucky with crashes though; I'd say I'm getting a game breaking crash every hour or so. Had about a dozen so far. Really taking away from the experience :(

I love how dense the world is, but it never feels repetitive. I'm starting to recognise little areas now for navigating without the map, and it's cool to see a little side street and think that I had a random fight down there, things like that.

Are you on console? I've not had any performance stuff like crashes (yet). It's crap that consoles are at the mercy of patch submissions as on pc you can just get some random who can come up with a fix.

What platform are you on Rocsteady? I'm honestly surprised you're having so much trouble. Your game is definitely updated, right?

Series S lads. It was a fresh download from the MS store a few weeks ago so it definitely should be.

I notice the changes from when I played it a couple of years back - much better streamlined leveling up system for example.

The most common problem is main characters freeze, objectives freeze, or the screen goes black - each of these accompanied by 'Saving...' and the spinning logo never going away. Very annoying.

On sale for £25 and there are too many people saying it's now a legitimately great game. I'll pass on Phantom Liberty until I know it's definitely for me though.

It's really very good. Took me a good few hours to get past some of the language and try-hard edginess but I'm absolutely loving it now.

That's strange, because I've completed it on Series S, and had no problems. Have you tried uninstalling it and reinstalling?

Nah I'm worried about losing my saves. Didn't have them from when I first played it on the series s a couple of years back.

Preem!

Is there any indication of how far you are in the story? I assumed those 3 icons with the percentages under them indicated progress, but they've not moved since I did some missions.

I've just done:

Saved a guy from a warehouse with Panam.

The dolls have stormed clouds while I infiltrated penthouse where I killed a woman and annoyed Judy.

Did the parade where I had a boss fight with a guy who had arm blades, and the bloke tried to talk to the woman on the carnival float but ended up having to abduct her.

Ok the game crashed 5 times in the last half hour then looked like it had deleted all my saves so I've unstalled it and am now reinstalling it. Hopefully this fixes it or it can get in the bin, strawberry floating annoying as.

One of those percentages is how much Johnny likes you.

Had a horrible moment where I uninstalled then reinstalled the game, and it came up with corrupt save files and looked like it had deleted all of my saves.

Then I loaded in and the same crash glitch happened again :fp:

Checked on reddit and a main culprit seems to be cross save functionality so I turned that off. I now have a glitching save wheel constantly there but it doesn't break anything so good enough.

I know I've been very unlucky with bugs and the rest of you evidently very lucky, but this is driving me strawberry floating insane.

None of the missions progress that require someone to call me back - not Claire's, "play it safe", or the Bes one. Lots of people on reddit have had the same issue but nothing is working - I'm skipping time for days and days on end, doing side missions, doing lots of random street side jobs, etc. Nothing progresses it.

Was gonna look at buying the expansion soon but strawberry float this, I can't believe they've still not ironed all the major bugs out years after release. Some of these were listed years ago on reddit.
