Just started V2. I really hope the thinly veiled excuses for girls in compromising positions let's up a bit..I don't remember the first one being anywhere near as bad.

Anyway, now I'm deep in to the 1st trial I'm loving it again. Even if some of the mechanics did not seem particularly well explained. I also have a feeling I may not be seeing much more of one of the characters in not particularly enjoying. No spoiler there, it's just my hunch.

Should be starting Ultra Despair Girls some time this week
Heard many a mix thing about it but my guess is my enjoyment of all things Dangan will help me look past any possible shiteness of UDG. I hope.

With Ultra Dispair Girls be aware that the cutscenes aren't subtitled, so if you're going to playing it handheld without audio you'll need to download the Japanese language pack to get subtitles
(And you can't change the language mid-game).
I still need to really get back on it properly. Busy playing through the Zero Escape games at the moment, though.

Starting Trigger Happy Havoc imminently. Just want to check - is it right to assume the best option is Japanese voice with English subtitles?

OK, cheers. What about logic and action difficulty? Temptation is to leave them at default “kind”, but wondering if “mean” makes the game better or more frustrating.

I'm guessing it only affects the trial section of the game and makes those mini-game things more time constrained, twitchy and complex. (Depending on the mini-game.)

Leave them at easiest unless you care about achievements. The thing they affect are excruciatingly terrible mini games and you'll want to breeze past them as easy as possible.

A tricky choice, then. I care about achievements only as part of fully completing a game. I'm just not sure if this is the sort of game I can complete on one thorough playthrough, or if I'd want to play through it again another time.
