It looks great, Pete!

Here is around ninety minutes of game play, plus the guy's overall thoughts starting from around 1:31:00:

I thought that looked awful if I'm honest.

Maybe it was just a bad bit of the video I skipped to...

It's not bad at all, I'm on level 2.

:o . Really, dude? I've watched bits of it and thought it looked quite neat. My initial thoughts:

+ Crash Zone - my favourite part of Burnout - is back!
+ The crash setups look cool
+ The speed and action is pretty intense
- I'm not crazy about the underground, gritty look; I prefer the outdoor zones of the original games
- The game seems a little bare bones

I'm gonna wait for more gameplay impressions, but I'm pretty keen at the moment.

I'm put off by the level design being arbitrary indoors/underground stages rather than well set up actual locations (like a junction in a city or whatever) :(

I imagine thats due to budgetary, age rating and avoiding controversy reasons, imagine the headlines "sick new game teaches children how to commit terrorist acts by crashing into innocent people!"

I'm going to buy it even if it is a little janky. They need the money to keep making games I like. Burnout successor next, please.

Addiction... thy name is Danger Zone.

As soon as I started, addiction flowed through me. I've spent the past hour playing the first zone ("Up The Junction") and not moving on :fp:  . The addiction is ramped up due to the online scoring. In the first zone I've finally got the Gold medal. 51 attempts, with my top damage being $8,425,000 (52 wrecks) which currently places me at 192* in the world :datass: .

It'll be cool if other GRcadians bought this as you can compare rankings with friends.

It is a basic game... it is a little clunky... and the presentation is very simple... but I love it :toot: .

* That'll probably move to several thousandth in the next few days  .

EDIT: Down to 199 already  .
EDIT2: How can the top damage be $16m-odd?  .

I've bought this, not back from my hols until the weekend but I'll be playing as soon as I'm back (more like the kids are in bed, we've unpacked and had a glass of wine).

:toot: .

Anyone else playing yet? I've played zone 1 but I can't get above the mid-8 mil mark. I'm now trying zone 2.

It's installed, but I'm going to crack on with Rime and finish that first.
I love Crash Mode, and once I start it's likely to consume me. Dangerous Golf didn't get left alone until I Platinumed it. No other game got a look in.
3/5ths of the way through Rime, so I'll be chasing down your scores soon, Jawa. :toot:

Don't have much impulse control so I've just bought it, don't think I'll get round to playing until the weekend though, really want to finish Rime before I start anything else on PS4.

Hey now, young Jawa, you trying to check my purchase history, youth? I'm on this mummy strawberry floater. Although, it's not very well presented on the store. Get it bought, 9 wraps.

And with that, today's objective has become very clear.
