I'll be playing it together with my mate, like I did with Dangerous Golf. Lost all of my good scores on that game, didn't have the console online.

Tried to Platimum the third level A LOT last night but still only scraped past Gold in the end. It's currently left me perplexed how to find the extra 5 million points you need for it.
Great updates, btw Jawa!

Played a little of this yesterday. I don't have the figures to hand but I think I'm only about £600k behind Diceman on "Up The Junction".

Good game though. I can see myself dipping in and out of it for a while. The setting is grim as hell though. Would have preferred more an outside setting on actual roads, but I can understand that would cost more money to make.

Ah. 5 million for the Grand Slam Bonus.
That'll do it. Only just realised this.

Well, this died a quick death.
I didn't play it for about three weeks myself, but I'm currently in a (Edge TM) bored to death of video games mentality and booted it up as it was devoid of icons, story, stuff to remember, massive map to traverse etc. Hope I snap out of it soon.
Anyway. I'm only posting because I feel Three Fields might be strawberry floated. Which will be a massive shame. No-one on my friends list has scores to beat past tier 1, and the leaderboards are very short of numbers. I've Platimumed every course, and each time I'm within top 100 worldwide. One of them I'm 7th. Point being: I'm not great at it, but if the skills I have get me in these leaderboard positions, not many have bought it.
Dangerous Golf is a better score attack game from them. There is so much more control over how you can score more points than this, where you have no idea where swerving traffic will end up or push you, and top scores basically dictate that you have to collect the bronze, silver & gold pickups in order. Whereas DG allows extra point opportunities with trick shots, Airstrikes, hidden Signitures bonuses, Secret Sauce smashes and even waiting until the last second to add buzzer-beater bonuses to your score.
Loved Burnout. Loved Crash Mode back in the day. Unfortunately, I think that Three Field's budget limitations means we've got the latter, when really, a new Burnout clone would have been what we all wanted, but didn't/won't now get.

Ok, me and my mate, we love a bit of Crash mode. I'll get my PS4 online at his place on monday night and I'll try to post some scores. We'll be pretty wrecked but can hopefully post something competitive.

I bought it as well. Enjoyed it enough but I always find myself turning it off after 30-40 minutes. I think the look of it doesn't help. It's just so brown and grim. Plus things like a quick restart would really help it. Right now it's just the wrong side of slow for me.

I'll keep dipping in and out as I like though and it is good fun.

I played the first level for about three hours... enjoyed it but then haven't returned to it. I like the gameplay but it does look remarkably bare-bones; the presentation is so thin. Good fun, though, and this thread bump has reminded me to give it another go.

I hope the PS4 version gets that extra content.
I think I'm about 3 junctions from clocking it, mostly gold I think, can't remember. Found it a touch disappointing, in the end - too much focus is on the pickups and not enough on crashing strategically, in my opinion. And the colour palette of the whole thing! Good lord.

Yeah, although I've only played the first few crash junctions, I'd agree with that. It is fun and, even though the game was only nine wraps, it does have amazingly basic presentation; almost like it's an alpha build or something. A great idea and still worth a look... but it's just so basic.

Didn't expect the change of setting to have such an impact on my enjoyment of the game :( I also don't like how the low ceiling often stops you from manoeuvring the car after kerploding it.

>>> Breaking news! <<<

Danger Zone 2 will launch on PS4 next month :o . "It features real life locations and roads, and a slightly bigger emphasis on driving...".

Oh, and the maker - Three Fields Entertainment - are working on releasing another racer, Dangerous Driving, on PS4 at the end of the year, too. Little detail beyond that at this stage.

Yeah, I'm keen to check it out too, Orange. I preferred the "road" locations of the Crash Zones in Burnout to the blander test arenas in Danger Zone.

But... it does sound a little controversial, though. I can imagine that the goal of causing smash-ups on the M1 and other "real" locations could gain critical eyes.
