Thanks for the heads-up, will probably get Banjo Kazooie at that price.

I see MS have strawberry floated with the dashboard layout in terms of games/demos, making it more difficult/impossible to find what you're looking for. :fp:

Still applies. Last-gen owners are able to pick-up huge libraries of quality titles for relatively little cash. I'm determined that I'll hold off from buying games this gen and just pick 'em up for peanuts in four years time.

This won't actually happen.

I'm not having problems downloading Bioshock Infinite, but I had all sorts of problems downloading Bioshock 1 and 2, Max Payne 3, and Dragon Age Origins/Dragon Age II.

Almost all of my recent 'big' downloads have given me issues, and it's taken literally dozens of attempts to download each of them. I'd continually get a "Can't download <game name>". I'd have to remove all trace of the attempted download and then download all ~7GB of each game in one go.

What problem(s) are you having?

I tried downloading it earlier then went on to play Dragon's Dogma. I know downloading usually stops when you're playing a game but it usually restarts afterwards. It didn't and when I checked it out I was informed that the game couldn't download. I retried and got the same message. Guess I'll give it another go later and see what happens.

I bought it a while back when it was on sale. It refuses to download. I still need to get onto Support about that. Bought it back before Christmas, only tried to download it a few weeks ago. I assumed my xbox was having issues with GoD games, as I couldn't download another purchase recently (Dragon's Dogma DA). I got reimbursed for that.

Maybe this is more widespread?

Yeah, as soon as I did something else that would interrupt the download, it wouldn't start up again.

If you try again, what generally happened with me was that the download would stop after a few seconds, and the same 'Can't download' message would come up. What you'll probably have to do then is clear you marketplace cache, or at least remove any partial download of the game from your HDD, and then try again. As I said above, usually for me the best option was downloading it in one go, otherwise you just end up in a continuous loop of failed/attempted downloads.

I cleared the cache and deleted updates/redownloaded them. Didn't work. I'm eager to see if this works for OLIN.

I was able to download it with no issues. Weird. Yet to see if it runs, but hey, least that's something.

Edit - it runs as well. VERY. STRANGE.

April’s Double Games with Gold Month

* Gears of War: Judgment ($19.99 ERP): Available from April 1-15 on Xbox 360
* Terraria ($14.99 ERP): Available from April 1-15 on Xbox 360
* Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag ($29.99 ERP): Available from April 16-31 on Xbox 360
* Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel ($19.99 ERP): Available from April 16-31 on Xbox 360

In the first part of the month, Xbox 360 gamers get the Gears of War: Judgment, as well as the open-world Roguelike Terraria. Gears of War: Judgment takes players back to the immediate aftermath of Emergence Day, the defining event of the Gears of War universe. The fate of the world rests on the shoulders of a young COG lieutenant, Damon Baird, and his team – Kilo Squad. In addition to an intense campaign that pits you against a horrifying new enemy, Gears of War: Judgment also introduces two class-based multiplayer modes, OverRun and Survival that add an exciting twist for fans of great cooperative multiplayer gaming.

On the other side of the coin, Terraria is a seemingly peaceful little romp through a limitless sandbox world, in which you must guide your alter ego to survival by exploiting their environment. Dig for metals, craft with what you discover, build incredible dwellings, and battle enemies of all shapes and sizes in Terraria’s seemingly endless possibilities. Work together with your friends to build your personal fortress then turn on PvP to either duke it out or takedown bosses in co-op.

Later in the month, Xbox 360 gets two more titles: the co-op shooter Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel, and the historical stealth-action epic Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag. If you haven’t played it yet, Black Flag is a swashbuckling fantasy set in the Caribbean during the Age of Sail, which adds ship-to-ship combat and plenty of exploration to the Assassin’s Creed stealth-and-action recipe. Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel is a third-person shooter that focuses primarily on cooperative gameplay. It pits you and a buddy against a ruthless drug cartel called La Guadaña, in a pulse-pounding series of missions that see the two of you face off against a literal army – and live to tell the tale.

Xbox 360 System Update for Preview Program Members – Now Supporting 2TB Hard Drives

Back in March we announced the Preview Program would expand to the Xbox 360 and work much like the Xbox One Preview Program – selected members would be able to sign-up directly from their Xbox 360 and once registered, have the opportunity to install system updates and experience the new or improved features before they release to the general audience. One of the most requested features at the Xbox Feedback website was for larger external storage for the Xbox 360.

The next update for Xbox 360 Preview Program members will allow the use of 2TB hard drives to store Xbox 360 data. If you are not part of the Preview program you will get this functionality later this year. In addition we will also no longer reserve space in advance on your hard drive. If you are using 16GB of hard drive space for games – we will only take 16GB of space. And just like today – you will be able to use two external drives at a time.

Note: Some drives may be incompatible or have performance issues. If you already have space reserved for storing Xbox 360 data, you will need to clear the Xbox 360 storage to gain full access to the drive. If you are in the Preview program, please review the list of known issues before formatting your drive.

As a reminder, the best way to recommend changes and improvements to the Xbox One or 360 is through the Xbox Feedback website. We appreciate your feedback and continue to work on improving the Xbox experience.

Genuinely didn't realise 360 supported external hard drives. I was just about to buy a (third!) official 250GB one as well. That'll be loads more convenient. :)

It did, but only up to 32gb. So if you had a bigger HD it made the rest of the space on it useless as you couldn't access it.

Assassins Creed: Black Flag and Army Of Two: The Devil's Cartel are now available for free for Gold subscribers. That external HDD support can't come soon enough!
