It looks interesting but that framerate does drop pretty low when the horde is onscreen.

They should go full meta and make it a horde "ability": When in the presence of large numbers of horde, the non-infected will suffer from disorientating effects which will hinder responsiveness and cause bewilderment quickly followed by annoyance. Also pop-in.

Jesus H Christ.

Yeah you seem to be on the wrong gaming site, Eurogamer is that-a-way.

Oh gooseberry fool have I joined a Sony forum?

No, one with adults.

Just to let you know, as some advice, unlike Eurogamer, IGN and the like the mods here don't tolerate trolling, baiting, unnecessary abuse and toxic console war nonsense and so forth. If you're looking for playground banter then Eurogamer and the like might be more your thing.

Perhaps one of the reasons it's been put back.

And has had several temp bans. In fact he had a bit of a warning today for trolling the SoD 2 thread.

Although I'm now suspecting yours is an alt account.

At this point I should probably say - welcome back, Jez. Your opinions are still terrible.

Still a fair few months before release, but that's not a good start.

I can only begin to imagine the toxic levels Eurogamer's comments section will reach by the end of the day.

That's disappointing, with all the games coming out in 2019 I might give this a miss.

It really should have released by now too, if the Last of Us 2 releasing mid-2019 rumors are true then Days Gone is in trouble.

Eurogamer preview is pretty worrying and the frame rate certainly has some issues. However, I still really like the look of it, it's certainly a case of wait for the reviews, but anything above an 80 and I'll probably pick it up.

Yeah, it doesn't fill one with confidence and I was quite excited for it. For me if Days Gone isn't a complete disaster then I'll grab it cheap.

Not really, I'm expecting this to average around 85, I might still pick it up if it does.

Apparently the game is now playable from beginning to end so they've got about 7-8 months to sort out the issues.

If it gets that as an average, I'll definitely get it. The game Informer preview was more positive at least and they had more time with the game, fingers crossed

I've seen a number of other previews from reputable sources now and they are far more positive than the EG piece, so I'm feeling better about the game's potential. They almost all raise the frame rate as an issue, so the delay may not have been just a timing decision after all, I'm very glad they have more time to address this.

After their Avoid rating for SoD 2 and now the rather scathing preview for Days Gone, I sense Eurogamer are somewhat down on zombie themed games at the moment.
