I'll be playing it once I get Arma 2. Got a few games to be playing right now so just waiting for a sale before I get it.

Better getting arma3 if you want an arma game

2 is really only good for dayz now and the legacy mods but they will soon transition over

Avoid Arma 2, get Arma 3.

Incredibly, I've racked up 35+ hours of DayZ Breaking Point SP. Best sandbox game I think I've ever played.

Meanwhile, some enterprising souls have already got DayZ MP running in the ArmA III engine...

It isn't perfect, by any means, but it's testament to the determination of modders...

Might be bullshit but in latest blog they are saying it will launch finally next year and on Xbox One.

As soon as the PC BETA is headed in a way we like, we're still committed to bringing DayZ to Xbox, where we have a large community of gamers patiently (very patiently!) waiting for a truly hardcore online survival game. All of that will (and must) happen next year - meaning we're just about to start what could possibly be the most exciting year for DayZ so far. In short: DayZ will be out of Early Access next year, and we'll also finally deliver it to console players in 2018.

So they have it up and Running on an Xbox One X. 50-60fps at 1080p and 30fps in 4K.

Without a doubt. I was on their twitter a couple of weeks ago and they were really excited about a new ladder climbing animation!

If it does launch in XB preview in a half decent state though I feel I HAVE to play it, I probably watched nearly 40hrs of it being streamed. :fp:

I hear the amount of gamers on PC is less than 2000 these days.

I quite liked the idea of Day Z at first, but after a while I came to the realisation that it is actually a barrel of bollocks. Last time I fired it up after supposed 'major updates' I found myself wandering around a practically empty island. Think I bumped into something like two zombies the whole time.

Uninstalled for being shite.

You don’t even need to go back to the first pages, most of this page is 5 years old.

DayZ is in closed Beta on Xbox Preview at mo, it's based on the upcoming 0.63 update that's currently in test servers on PC. Bizarrely, the 0.63 version could come out on Xbox fully formed before PC, devs are saying it's cos MS are helping them get it up and running.

Xbox Release date announcement at gamescom later this month.

Sign up to closed Preview later this month.

Oddly they say it's running at 60fps 4K on X1X, there's a few video's around.

Here it is on the X. I presume total players per server will be 32 or less to keep it running ok.

I’ve been watching a guy stream this on X1S and it seems to run better than PUBG, it even has proximity chat as he met up with mates and enemies.

It has 20 and 60 player servers, guy I watched was on 60 player one. I’ve applied for a beta key so we’ll see. Here’s a veteran DayZ players first impressions on X1S.
