So what price are the cinema tickets in your area? At my local the price of cinema tickets for an evening showing is £7.50.

It's like £11.50 or some garbage, raising by £1 for 3D and then another pound for the good screen.

This is why I love having a Vue cinema in Cardiff that charges £4. Think I'm gonna take a punt on it tomorrow.

The Vue also does Meerkat Movies. My mate bought travel insurance for something stupid like Cardiff to Birmingham for a couple of quid and now can go to the Vue for £2 a ticket on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Get yourself to the Maxine at Blackwood mate...£2.50 a pop and no extra for 3D movies either. :)

edit: used to go the one at Nantgarw but not been there for about 18 months now. Last time I went was getting on for £9 a ticket.

I use Blackwood or Market Hall cinema, the oldest cinema in wales. Both cheap. Want to see this but reviews and mess of batman v superman put me off a bit

Just back from seeing it. I really liked it. Far better than BvS but I guess that doesn't mean much to most. I liked the whole cast (even Jai Courtney who was quite entertaining) but thought Jared Leto's Joker was just OK. Need to see more of him as he was really only in it for about 10 minutes total I would say. Also wanted to see more of Harley and Joker's background. Could have been a whole movie of that. It seems like a load of Joker stuff was cut. I remember some production footage where he smacks up Harley next to a sports car. That wasn't in the movie at all and neither was his "can't wait to show you my toys" scene from the trailers.

Favourite part was when they introduced and then killed off Slipknot in the space of 5 minutes. Don't think he even had a line. Will Smith was the standout of course. Man is charismatic as strawberry float. I was surprised how much I liked El Diablo as well.

Those re-shoots they did late on were a little jarring. I'm not sure if was just me who noticed them. It kinda reminded me of that famous scene from Snakes on a Plane. It was too obvious the way they spliced them in.

The Enchantress was so much better before she became that goddess thingy or whatever it was. Before that she was super creepy and almost something from a horror movie. Her first transformation in the briefing room was damn cool. Then she started doing weird gooseberry fool with her body on top of those steps and it was weird as strawberry float. What on earth were they going for there? And her final line was way out of character.

Things I didn't like: The opening with everyone's introduction went on way too long and probably had a few too many songs playing over it. Also, I know it's a comic book movie and you have to gloss over stupid things sometimes but a lot of the squad had no reason to be there. I mean, Harley and Boomerang for a start. They're just regular people with melee weapons. Why would you recruit them for this job at all? Another thing, how can Croc swim like that? It's not like he had a tail or anything. At least that would make sense but he'sjust a bug dude covered in scales and that ssomehowmakes him swim super fast. Yeah ok.

Overall, really liked it, great music choices, would watch again. Looking forward to a sequel. Don't understand all the negative press.

6.5/10
Pretty boring and very predictable. The jokes were lame as well like how Harley Quinn was supposed to be funny...was just so bad.

I don't want to compare it to Batman V Superman but BvS is way better. Currently watching the Ultimate Edition (extended version on blu ray) with 30mins of extra footage. Better than any Avengers film too. Love BvS :web:

"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice opens on March 25th, 2016, followed by Suicide Squad on August 5th, 2016; Wonder Woman on June 23rd, 2017; Justice League Part One on November 17th, 2017; The Flash on March 16th, 2018; Aquaman on July 27th, 2018; Shazam on April 5th, 2019; Justice League Part Two on June 14th, 2019; Cyborg on April 3rd, 2020; and Green Lantern Corps. on June 19th, 2020."

Just having a look at the ticket prices for my local, for a peak adult (evenings and weekends) they start off at £12.79 but for new releases they can be up to £1 more (i.e Suicide Squad is £13.79). That's before the 3D, extreme screen etc add ons.

Some of the prices people are paying to get into the cinema are crazy...I can imagine that taking along a family of 4 with snacks, popcorn, drinks and the like could soon be hitting just shy of £100!!

With IMAX and 3D costs it can easily be that

I don't understand how this film is getting such bad reviews because it's a good movie. I had misgivings about him before seeing it but Will Smith anchored the film well and it's the best thing he's done in ages. He played off well with Kinnaman.

The squad had chemistry and were all likeable, even Jai Courtney shockingly. Viola Davis was excellent casting as Waller. Margot Robbie's writing let her down but she got better.

A top tier superhero movie.

I like that he didn't even get an intro video he just appeared on the powerpoint in Waller's briefing.

I know loads of folk absolutely love it, I've tried to watch it 3 times and only once made it to the end. Maybe I'm not so much invested in the characters as theyre pretty new in the MCU, maybe the 2nd one will interest me more.

I swear they will bring the release of a solo Batman film alot quicker. It's what people want.
