I've only recently started making these, and I find it quite relaxing to make these things, which come out quite nicely afterwards.
Jigglypuff
Cyndaquil
Small Pikachu (was the first one I made)

Awesome work, DC
How long does it normally take you to finish one?

Only an hour or two for the ones so far, but I do them whilst watching TV or something.
And cheers

Do they have to be flat? or can you extend them into three dimensions?

Looks a good idea, I used to do this but by drawing on squared paper

The back of my old maths books are full of them.

It IS possible, but also quite tricky getting enough heat to both edges to fuse them together.
I really need to get making some more soon. I made a pretty big one the other week, and dropped it
Put me off for a while.

Had a nice day out at Hatfield house last weekend. They had a sculpture exhibition, which was unexpected, but nice.
Some photos (Spoilered for large):
Shame it was such an overcast day

I bought a load of Hama beads (and got some for Christmas), eveytime I make something I always knock it and get frustrated cause the bits fly out! Gah!
How do you iron them down, do you need a sheet in between the iron and the beads so the beady plastic doesnt stick to them? Is baking paper okay? Always wanted to do pokemon ones!

Hama sell their own paper, but you can use grease proof paper too.
