I really really would like to see a new Powermonger and it would be perfect for VR as the original had guys standing around a table and the game map in the middle.
I think a decent God game could be pretty good for PSVR and it's easy for multiplayer with people claiming islands and hopping about and it doesn't need to be all that graphically amazing as the game isn't super fast anyway.

So, what other long lost gems need reviving?

I'd love the Switch to get a new Rogue Squadron game. Or even a remake of the trilogy.

Obviously never going to happen.

A new version of Unreal Tournament that felt the same as UT99. No arena shooter since has been quite as enjoyable and man do I miss all the mods.

Isn't UT99 the original Tournament?

That makes me feel so old.

Heretic/Hexen. Love this series. While I have them all I would love to see a remake of any of one of them.

I once matched the music to this game in a gaming pub quiz, despite maybe playing it for 10 seconds. I have absolutely no idea how I managed to do that... Got so many points I ended up with a trophy. :D

Midtown Madness or Midnight Club.
I know newer open world racers have built the genre up to a great standard, but these two series put their own unique spin on things before it became a popular genre. Midnight Club might not classify as a dead series, considering the last game was released just under ten years ago, but with the advancements Rockstar have made since, it could be served as an even greater experience. As for Microsoft and Midtown Madness, it was a popular series which could see its name alone bring in the hype. Though with Microsoft now having moved onto Forza, I highly doubt the series will be revived unless the rights ever get sold on.

Back OT I'd probably play a new Thunder Force, Alisia Dragoon, or even Ecco (never played the DC game so should grab it). (Wasn't a new Ecco recently announced?)

Most my favourite franchises are still alive today or were run into the ground.. Burnout for example, Paradise is the last of those games I say, although got a keen eye on NFS Hot Pursuit (2010).

I'd like a new F-Zero please. I can't believe it'll be 15 years since the last console version in October. Absolutely criminal.

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Splinter Cell. After playing Assassins Creed Origins I'd love to see what they could do with SC in an open world like MGSV but with more of a world than a desert.

An FPS with Goldeneye/Perfect Dark style additional objectives at higher difficulties.

Good Disney games like Aladdin and The Lion King.

Single player Star Wars games.

BioShock.

The Conflict series. They were very simple but good fun in Co-op.

A proper new Jak and Daxter on the new gen consoles, or even a reboot in some form, would be the absolute dream.
Also Golden Sun really needs a follow up to Dark Dawn to tie off all those plot threads it clearly set up with a sequel in mind. I'd love to see what they could do with it on Switch, the summons would look amazing.

Dino Crisis.

Given all the advances in our knowledge of their kind, the return of the Jurassic Park films (and that new park creator game), and all the advances made in gaming (RE4 onwards), I am astounded that a series as beloved as Dino Crisis has been allowed to stay dead. It seems to me that it could be commercial gold.

One day, I know we'll meet again, under the Iron Sky...
