Dead games you wish could come back.

I’d love to see another top down Killzone game in the vein of Killzone: Liberation. It took me several tries to get into the main Killzone series but I loved Liberation right from the start. It was an excellent cross of a Gears of War style cover shooter with games like Mercs and I would love to see another game in a similar style.

While we’re at it Resistance 4.

Oh gooseberry fool yeah I forgot Resistance, 2 was my first game on PS3 and my first proper FPS to boot so the series has a special place in my heart. Not sure another numbered entry would work considering how 3 pretty much brought it all to an end, but a spinoff looking at a resistance group somewhere outside of America/Europe would be cool. Hell, set it in Russia and show us how it all started.
FPSes with a strong single player experience seem to be having a bit of a renaissance at the minute so it'd be a great time for Insomniac to dust the series off.

Most my favourite franchises are still alive today or were run into the ground.. Burnout for example, Paradise is the last of those games I say, although got a keen eye on NFS Hot Pursuit (2010).

Seriously though, I'd love a new Snowboard Kids game. Used to play that to death on the N64, it's one of the only Mario Kart clones that had an identity of its own. Fights to get onto the chairlift at the end were legendary.
