My Xbox copy has just come and I'm about to start it, but does anyone know what the Cinematic Mode in the HUD options does?

Apparently the "true" ending is only accessible in the £15 season pass:

Read a load of reviews and it seems the people that got on with DR3 loved this. There is a distinct camp of 2 types in DR fandom, The ones that loved 1/2 and hated 3 and vice versa. I am firmly in the 'loved DR3 and hated 1/2' so I may pick this up for the xmas lols.

Don't forget to buy the Season Pass if you want to see the true ending.

Doesn't sound too bad -

I'm not going to spoil the ending, but I was happy with it as it stands. It doesn't cut off at a point and you think "what's going to happen next/", it completes the story. The description of the DLC that's been going around is simply an additional extra to the story - it's not required in my opinion. It's exactly what you'd expect from DLC, extra content, not something I'd consider required content.

Anyone get this? Its great fun, mixed with some sort of super serious story.

No timer gives you plenty of time to explore. Love it

I really enjoyed it on my first playthrough. Didn't do all the side stuff, but I'll probably have another play through to do it.

My only real disappointment is that the Psychopaths are now total non-events. I really enjoyed how unique they were in the previous games and how each one got their own little intro cut scene. Now you just turn up and there's a named human enemy or two that you can take down in maybe 2-4 hits.

I read the reviews and they mentioned that, i always struggled with the psychos and I got quite frustrated. The amount you seem to be able to do is great as well, looking forward to playing some more today.

Seems to be quite big in scale as well. Loads of stuff to find and collect, the story is ridiculously serious for such a tongue in cheek game though..

I love Frank's character in this too. It seems pretty perfect for the setting and all the gooseberry fool he's gone through.

I'm looking to buy one for around this price, too. I've missed the deal on DR4 at Tescos, Amazon and Argos (there's none in stock near me).

Errant Signal are pretty critical about it:

Havent played it enough yet tbh, controls are just as loose as DR3, havent encountered many graphical errors, and the amount of stuff to do is great. Driving around a mall on a security cart is great fun

Played first hour and love this, genuinely Lol'd several times at Franks one liners and one of the cut scenes is brilliant for Lol's. It's as good as DR3 but with a Bruce Campbell main character. Plays much better too putting melee and ranged weapons into different slots.

Just giving people the heads that there is a bug in the game where if you play the multiplayer, you lose your survivors you've aqquired in single player and your bases go to minimum level.
