Dead Rising 4

It's probably delayed for a few months before it comes to PS4, looking forward to spending Christmas with it though.

I read it was an Xbox and PC exclusive. Shame as I would have picked this up.

That is odd/annoying alright. I wonder why Dead Rising 3 & 4 have taken the exclusive route?

Simply because MS paid for the exclusivity.

Didn't they also pay for (some of?) the development?

I hope its cross play with Win10, as much as some people deride the fact stuff is cross play, if it evolves and becomes fully integrated, it'll mean X1/Scorpio will have massive online player numbers.

The 14min Gameplay demo looks like a ton of fun.

Zero connection as far as I could tell.

Letdown. Didn't get why they left the first game on what was basically a cliffhanger and then never actually went back to it

Honestly thought the second one was too big and this looks like it suffers the same problem of having so many zombies it never gets anything less than ridiculous. For me the first one nailed creepy/fun because of the enclosed spaces and reasonably "lots and lots but never too many" levels of zombies, whereas this looks like you're basically given a screen blanketed in weak enemies and the power amor from Fallout 4 as though that's going to be entertaining for more than about ten seconds.

Maybe i'm just annoyed cos I had to grind for literal hours to get the Zombie Genocider achievement in the first one though.

Out 6th December. Was announced on the Xbox Daily Show.

The story in 3 directly tied into the first game towards the end.
